There's only one thing wrong with this place, and it ain't their fault - they're out of range of most NO tourists. We only found it coming back in from Chalmette Battlefield. But if you are a history buff headed there, or maybe the Jackson Barracks Museum, or if you are willing to go where the locals go (nothing is really far away in NO) - this place is REAL. Nothing you might expect, but it will EXCEED expectations. The interior is certainly unprepossessing, but there's a lovely outdoor dining patio, too (too hot for us for our visit 6 days ago), but I assure you the regular menu has something good in store for YOU, no matter who you are - and if not, the specials will thrill ya. Breakfast Lunch & Dinner. Fully stocked bar - one of the best French 75s in town (I've had dozens throughout NO). The atmosphere couldn't be more NOLA - casual, friendly along with top-notch service - people who actually give a damn - both front-of-house and back-of-house. We will make an excuse to go back to the Chalmette area if only to eat here. And my husband says I'm the pickiest "Karen" around, so . . . take a chance!

We had an amazing experience at The Kitchen Table in Arabi. Finally a Coke without chlorine taste (the Germans will understand 😉). The burgers were absolutely delicious, the fries perfectly done, and even my Caesar salad as a side was super tasty. But on top of all: Jennifer, our waitress, was incredibly friendly – by far the best service we’ve had here in the South so far.

The Kitchen Table is a hidden gem in Arabi. They had so many specials and menu options. I had the fried green tomatoes with shrimp remoulade as an appetizer and a shrimp pasta they had on the menu with capers and Kalamata olives and it was delicious! I love this place!

Chad is a culinary genius. The ingredients are always fresh, and there are different specials every week. Nicest staff in the world with a dining room that is never void of laughter.
Good service and atmosphere were fantastic! I was invited to lunch with friends that recently moved to the area and they introduced me to the Kitchen Table. I'll definitely be making return visits!
