We love this restaurant! I had the crab and corn bisque, and she had the duck gumbo to start, and it was incredible. I then had the best duck, without question, I have ever had and she had the most amazing rizzoto you can imagine. Five stars is not enough to rate this restaurant. Also, if you go near lunchtime, try the oyster BLT, unbelievable!

Sadly with the change in ownership, food and drink quality has disappeared. I used to be a regular but will never go again. They pretend to focus on local seasonal cuisine. I can tell you for certain they do not! I really miss the old owners. :(Whenever I'm in town I make a point of going here. Great food, wonderful drinks and the service is always great. Not being able to come here more is one of the things I miss about living in New Orleans. I'm glad they are still around and weathered covid and a tornado. ❤️

This place was outstanding in food and service. Sadly the floor was Sticky and that should have been addressed before the lunch crowd came in and I hope they fix that small problem. We very much enjoyed our food.

A friend and I had lunch here Saturday. She suggested it because she had been here before. Nice choices on the menu. The food was delicious. The smoked duck gumbo was as good as any gumbo I have ever eaten. We each ordered the hamburger. She had fries, and I got the pasta salad. The hamburgers are large and delicious. Her fries were fresh, not from frozen. We each took half of our burger home. I had the pasta salad for dinner that night. It was very good. Large portions. The service was excellent. Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: There's a veggie burger that my friend has had in the past. She said it is excellent.Parking: Paved parking next to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: It is definitely a family oriented restaurant. Very casual.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter and tables that wheelchairs can roll up to.

Food was good as usual but the sandwich came out on toasted french bread that was probably wonderful but too hard for me. The fried green tomatoes were over cooked to burned but the the shrimp on top EXCELLENT , the hamburger was excellent as usual, The complaint is it got very cold. I asked the fan to be lower or turned off but got little to no response. It was freezing towards the end of the meal and I had to put on a jacket, to warm up. Do not know the cause of this sudden increase in cold but it took too long to remedy the situation.

The Kitchen Table is not what it used to be....once it was a favorite with excellent food, but is not anymore. After the change in ownership, we gave it a good try-- and found the oysters tough, the salads completely tasteless (though the chicken breast was well cooked, it too was unseasoned), and the barbecue shrimp is really a soup with whole shrimp in it. What used to be delicious meals are now "meh".Hopefully, a talented chef will come onboard— and their former reputation can be maintained.

Food was fresh and tasty. A nice change from all the sauces of the French Qtr. Service was good. We’re outside on a beautiful day on their well shaded patio.

was in town for a meeting and stopped here one night for dinner. Pork Chops were awesome. Homemade dessert was great. It didn't look like much from the street, very simple, but the food will surprise you.

Food was tasty. Unfortunately, our order of fra diavolo was underwhelming as it was not spicy at all. This dish is normally (always?) spicy with crushed red peppers. While the restaurant has a great selection of hot sauces, none really could replicate the missing red pepper. Again, the dish was tasty, just not what i expected (kinda like ordering fried fish and getting grilled fish).

Tried going back again in Oct. Could not get through half of a very dry disgusting burger, were done with this place.Had to update my 5 star rating to a 1.Food definitely took a hit since the place was sold, gave them 3 shots all a miss. Burnt fries, burgers arent the same, even the salad I has was sad. While the old servers we had are great, one of the new servers needs to know that customers eating need thier beverage asap as I almost choked on the hard burnt fries. Won't be back. Back to Rocky's !

Can't wait till it's cool enough to eat outdoors there is plenty of room and even entertainment. I've been waiting for a cozy fun place and boy did I hit the jackpot!!!
