I finally tried Stella Maris after many friends recommended it. It was the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had in the New Orleans area! The food is delicious, prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. The grocery store has a nice selection of international food at surprisingly low prices.

I loved this place. Great service, very clean place. On the right side, you have the restaurant and on the left side the grocery store. They even had fresh beef and lamb for sale. The owner was very gracious and accommodating. The food was AMAZING. Great flavors, and even better portions. Food is excellent, as is the service. Atmosphere is great for what it is- nice clean tables and good music and a grocery store connected. I had hummus with lamb and it was delicious. The mint tea is great too, and the grocery area has all sorts of wonderful items and drinks.
