My husband and I travel to southern Louisiana the first weekend in May every year to partake in the crawfish festival. As a result, we like to dine at as many local establishments as possible and we always try to give an elaborate, detailed review. Myran's Maison De Manger is a popular restaurant known for its exceptional seafood offerings. The restaurant serves delectable 4 lb piles of crawfish covered in an amazing seasoning, as well as a huge 3 cluster Dungeness crab with a half pound of boiled shrimp. Customers can also enjoy the best fried onion strings in the world, which are a perfect accompaniment to the cold beer and Cajun specialties.
Recent reviews suggest that while the food remains excellent, the service has been inconsistent. Some customers have experienced long wait times and slow service, with orders for beer not always fulfilled. However, the boiled crawfish, chicken tenders, fried mushrooms, and fish and chips have been praised for their quality.
Overall, Myran's Maison De Manger continues to provide an authentic Cajun dining experience, with a focus on fresh, flavorful seafood and Cajun-inspired dishes. The restaurant's commitment to quality and the friendly staff make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a taste of southern Louisiana.
