“FBC is one of the best bakeries in Louisiana. When I think of baked goods and desserts I think of comfort food and guilty pleasures and that is exactly what you get at FBC! Not only do they have the best tiramisu, cupcakes, and pastries, but the owners are some of the best people I know. “This is an excellent donut place, I advise anyone to go fairly early in the morning, especially if ur wanting a blueberry muffin or donut holes, seems like they r gone before 9 am. Their kolaches and apple pies r absolutely delicious. Ohh and the glazed donuts r amazing as well. The workers are very polite, and always a smile. I almost always go through drive thru, n sometimes there is a line but moves fast.“
“This place is delicious! I live in Florida, and my Mom mails me packages of their stuff for Valentine’s, Easter, etc. Love their cookies and “Twix cookies“, but you have to try their Paleo bar and trail mixes. I hope to visit in person soon!“

“If you love decidant sweet treats, you must visit Doce Vida Brazilian Bakery! A friend introduced me to this sweet shop and I couldn't be more grateful. I have been back many times since to purchase more macaroons, cookies, toffee, cake pops, brownies, hand made taffy and candy, and so much more! The variety of cakes is endless. My favorite is red velvet, but they also offer German chocolate, carrot cake, banana nut.... There's so many varieties of sweet treats even the pickiest eater will find a scrumptious treat and love every bite. There is something for everyone and I highly recommend stopping by and seeing what they have to offer. You will not be disappointed.Vegetarian options: I did not see any items at all that contained meat, so this is a definite go to for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: I had gallbladder issues, so I had to stay away from greasy foods, so the items offered didn't bother me, but for those on a low calorie or low carb diet they do offer some low sugar items.Parking: Plenty of parking a short distance from the entrance.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love all of the sweet treats. “6-25-23 came for the first time around 9:40 A.M.I called first to see if they had bagels (because my fella likes bagels), but they didn't.Anyway, they DID have cinnamon rolls!!!!I also ordered the pinecone donut because I read the reviews...and MOST of them RAVEE about the pinecones!The Cinnamon rolls are a 10/10!!!The Pinecone donuts are 10/10!!!Go get you some!!!I was afraid that the donuts would have been all cold and stuff because it was wayyyy about 7, but they were fresh!!!I have no idea what you Alexandria folks like about Shipley's (yuck, yuck, yuck) but THIS PLACE IS WHERE THE QUALITY OLD-FASHIONED STYLE RECIPES AND CREATED WITH LOVE COMES FROM!!“
