Excellent fried jumbo shrimp (and sauce), okra, hushpuppies, coleslaw! Honestly the best fried shrimp I've ever had. Light coating, perfect seasoning and cooked right. Highly recommend.

We called in a large to go order and when we got there to pick up and pay there was 2 roaches crawling across the counter where the register is.. the girl working the counter acted like she didn't see them.. I will never go back again.. if they were on the front counter then there is no telling what's in the kitchen that we can't see..and to the owner that replied back on my post. It wasn't christmas day that we was in there it was a few days prior to Christmas..

My husband & I always stop at Sam's either going to MS or heading back to TX. Always welcoming, good food, and great service. However today was different the cashier named Brit was very unprofessional & inviting. No greeting acting as if we weren't there, then just a dull look when she finally asked what we wanted we started to leave but gave it a try anyway. Appearance & attitude is all a part of great customer service, she has neither top dirty with some worn out house shoes in an eatery is diabolical really.. She brings the food and I advised her my order wasn't correct. Her response was i put it in its on the receipt. I said I understand that but it wasn't done. We decided to grab to go boxes & not continue with the dine-in experience. Placed order for 12 jumbo shrimp plate but was given 15 small to medium and was charged same price. I don't think that was right. The manager told me that was jumbo but I know she was lying because I had always gotten what I order. So I was cheated and lied to. I called to talk to the owner and was denied
We waited at least 30 minutes to get our food. When we finally got it the chicken wings were overcooked and don't have any sauce on them. The mac and cheese was bland, and the shrimp Alfredo only had a few shrimp. Disappointed ☹️

Surprisingly this was a great experience...food was great and the service was good even though they only had one poor young lady working up front...they need to have more staff up there even on slow days...the atmosphere was not great...very dated lobby and not very clean looking at all.... probably due to the shortage of staff. That young lady was working the phones, drive through and the front registers all at the same time...oh and she was putting orders together....worth a try for sure but call ahead or be prepared to wait awhile for your food due to the shortage of staff
