Grilled oysters are delicious! Great service and staff.
Great place to hang out an enjoy authentic south Louisiana cuisine. Fast and efficient service. And wide range of seafood. Choices for everyone.
Fun atmosphere, great food and wonderful service!
Outstanding place to eat
Great Red beans & Rice / Smoked Sausage. They also gave lots of Tobasco & butter/garlic sauce with French bread to go. Made my hotel stay easier.
Total disappointment, the food was mediocre (to be generous). My soup tasted like a Bowl of salt and for being an oyster house there wasn't much of a selection. The service was great and the restaurant was clean but the food is nothing to return for.

The hush puppies, shrimp and onion rings was good and fresh. The only things I didn't like were the fish and cocktail sauce. Overall I'll give it 4.2/5

Just had lunch at Acme Oyster House-Baton Rouge and it was outstanding!
We now live in Lafayette but spent many years in Baton Rouge and the abundance of great restaurants is what we miss most. My go to dish at lunch is the Cup of Seafood Gumbo and half a Fried Oyster Poboy.
Our server, Justin Naylor, showed up promptly and took our drink orders, then was back to take our food order. I stuck with my go to dish and my wife had a”small” fried oyster platter with hush puppies and sweet potato fries. The order came out very quickly and we both were extremely happy. Great food every time! BTW- the “small” oyster platter was more than enough to bring home for a second meal!
Justin was attentive, very personable and you will benefit if he is your server.
Eating here makes me want to brave the unpredictable traffic to BR so we can eat there more often. Great job Acme Oyster House.

Food is delicious. Try the Soft Shell Crab, is a must! Jambalaya is one of my favorites. Oh, and have some Oysters either chargrilled or raw, you won’t regret it!

If I could give no stars and all x’s I would. I’m assuming the weekend gets the worst service because this Saturday was horrible. Waited for cold food and an attitude. Oyster sauce was to salty. No hospitality, sitting at the bar while employees staring at you while you’re eating. My companion was heated. Never visiting again!
Awesome restaurant for fresh seafood!
