My wife and I both ordered the prime rib sandwich which is a gourmet French Dip sandwich. This is a fabulous sandwich on a brioche bun. Excellent home cut fries with the sandwich. This prime rib sandwich is the best French dip sandwich in town.

Very amazing BBQ and awesome sides! This was our first time to try this restaurant but we will definitely be back! Love it!

We were traveling through and found this gem on the travel advisor app. Had good reviews and decided to try it. We thought it was good. Good amount of food for the price too. I ordered the pastrami grilled cheese (really pastrami, looks like bacon, cooked/smoked very well) had great flavor with Swiss cheese, Cho chow sauce and marbled rye bread. Hubby had Q2 two kinds of meat (he chose brisket and pulled pork), little one had pulled pork sandwich, but got an open faced pulled pork. Food was a fast, good and our service was very good too. Awesome job Paris.

Would be 4.5 stars if TripAdvisor had half stars. Found this place on a last minute unexpected trip from New Orleans to Baton Rouge. Service was good, food was awesome. My friend and I split a pulled pork sandwich and a beef brisket sandwich. The pork was a tiny bit dry but tasty. The beef was really good. Hubby got the pastrami hrilled cheese and it was amazing. Onion rings were wonderful. We've had BBQ all over the country and this one definitely matches up to some of the best.

My new favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. Maybe a bit more expensive than other BBQ restaurants, but the food - especially the sides - is incredible. Blew away expectations.

Where to start…Homemade bread & butter pickles and in house kettle chips! Crispy Brussels Sprouts are roasted well and topped with a wonderfully unique sauce. Pulled pork quesadilla was AMAZING! Huge portions. Great crunchy sides. Sammich with pulled pork was paired with 4 types of BBQ sauce: One for any taste preference. I liked the spicy onion rings. That was a good pairing. Chicken sliders were a new flavor. Changed out the cheese to a Swiss since I thought the pairing would be better. Potato salad side was well done. Saturday is half price beverages. Gotta like that. If you are in town, try it. I think it is worth the effort.

Fried okra - not crisp and cold; creamed spinach - overloaded with cream, cheese and flour-like light roux (practically inedible); salmon on the house salad - asked for medium and was seared, very undercooked. But our waitress was very friendly - hence the 2 stars.

Best place we ate on vacation! Everything thing we ordered was great. We had the pulled pork debri pile for appetizer, for the meal my husband had the pulled pork lunch plate and i had the chicken sliders with onion rings. So much food- in the picture I had already eaten part of my meal. Brandy was our waitress and she was the best! We took home the carrot cake and it was so delicious. It was huge- this piece of cake was put in what reminded me of the rotisserie chicken containers and it filled it up! Also the pickles and chips they give you were awesome!

Mother’s Day Brunch. Great Bloody Mary and had the Mexican Style Hashbrowns. Husband had the Prime Rib Sandwich; both were very good. Definitely will be going back.

We have been to BRQ in Baton Rouge several times and we had another great experience this past weekend. The cocktails and food were excellent and we really enjoyed the new “Backyard” outside bar and patio - what a wonderful addition. We’ve enjoyed several different menu items; they have all been delicious and are listed under recommended dishes. A shout out to the staff at BRQ for their personable and attentive service. Definitely a restaurant you should visit when in Baton Rouge.

I ordered a meal for two to go from BRQ tonight. I have never visited the restaurant in person. I ordered online, which was extremely easy and paid using my credit card. I was able to leave a custom tip in advance. I received an email stating the order was placed and soon after an email with the time the food would be ready for pick-up. When I arrived, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and there were three wait-staff at the front desk to attend to customers. They had my food in a nice, handled paper bag ready to go upon arrival. We ordered the halloumi as an appetizer, the brisket platter, the salmon with broccoli, and bread pudding for dessert. The food came in recyclable plastic containers, which made it easy to transfer to plates. The food was absolutely delicious--everything was wonderful! I will definitely be returning to BRQ as an online customer and hopefully, once the pandemic is under control, an in-person guest. Thank you!

First visit to the restaurant today with my family. My son had been before and lauded the food quality. We were not disappointed today! The crab cakes were almost all crab meat. Hard to find that these days! The shrimp poboy and the prime rib sandwich were also great eats! Above all though was the service happening at every table. The wait and bus staff worked really hard to make patrons feel welcome and safe. I respected that every staff person helped each other out in checking on table needs and bringing out the food. The teamwork was noticeable and appreciated. Two servers in particular should be recognized for their leadership: Paige and Tyler. Exceptional service. Incredible leaders. Great food. Will definitely come back!

Alex was a fantastic server and food was delicious as always. Hubby had the ribs which fell off the bone. I enjoyed the slider trio with pork only. The charbroiled broccoli is always a favorite. Another solid meal with great service. Never disappoints!!

Their food is absolutely amazingly delicious, the chicken was so moist and soft, the food was worth the money, and their customer service was really nice . it was worth the long drive from way up east !!
