We came across this jewel while driving by Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. As soon as we walked in, we felt the love and knew the food was going to be good. We ordered the Jerk Chicken and Seafood Omelettes. It was the best tasting omelette we ever had!

Went for lunch with my kids. The service was AMAZING!!!! The food was AMAZING!!!!! We ordered the blt, a burger and fries also the sunny side which was pancakes eggs and bacon. He gave us a sample of the red beans and rice; YALL IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!!! The pancakes were omg soooo good!! The blt was AMAZING!!!!!! I wish I could tell you abt the burger I saw the box and my son asked when could we go back. Needless to say we’ll be back!!!

Very pleasant atmosphere mature environment and conversations. If you have roots in or from Old South Baton Rouge you may find a yourself in a time warp with McKinley alumni and residents from that vast community from athletes too news paper editor retired social services educators etc. & the food was is excellent. I shall return...
