Please stop putting so much ganache on everything. It's even worse in practice than in theory. Baum's cakes have become increasingly poorly conceived and executed over time. It's a real shame. The BR Whole Foods makes better cakes.

Quality has fallen off big time (probably because they refuse to pay employees decent wages). They are currently closed due to a COVID outbreak following the store manager working while sick and refusing to wear a mask. This place should go out of business.

The quality has really down downhill. The cakes are very stale and the decorating is atrocious. I can't even understand how they would let me walk away with such a bad looking, old cake. It honestly looked like a joke of a cake. I was in a pinch so I bought it, but I won't be back. For the price, $40, you can get a much better cake from ambrosia or whole foods. I would've been better off at Albertsons.

I wish I could give zero stars. Please do not order from this establishment! The conditions are horrible, rodents are crawling all over the place. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to patronize this business, your health would literally be put at risk from all of the filthiness. To top it all off, all pastries & cakes aren’t made fresh, everything is frozen. Please keep your money & go elsewhere, I cannot believe this business is still open.

It's not truck driver friendly for deliveries. Have to run over curbs, grass and mud to get to the back of the store. Small box truck is a better option. Driver unload

My mom order me a king cake for my birthday. I just moved very north and was craving a little peice of home! She wouldn't say how much she paid for this king cake but I do know it was way to much. I was upset before I even got the cake. They only send cakes once a week, ok. They did not deliver the cake. No call nothing. When she did call they where rude! Cake will be a week late! A week! Finally get the cake I could have let this go with the cheap icing and bags of colored sugar that we decorated with. But the cake is nasty too. No cinnamon in the cake thats not king cake. Tasted like it had been in the freezer for well over the week! Never again! Sorry mom.

Ordered a Minnie Mouse cake from here for my daughter’s 1st birthday and the cake looked like my 7 year old decorated it..highly disappointed for the price I paid.I couldn’t even post it on my social media. Customer service could’ve been better also!

Don't waste your money! People are not friendly and not very helpful. They don't let you know until you go in that you have to preorder a king cake. Then when you do get it exactly 24hrs later, it's underbaked, the icing that made it onthe cake taste and looks like glue, almost no colored sugar and just right down nasty all together, $25+ down the drain for that. Also, got some cheesecake that didn't have any taste, put that in the trast as well. And the little cake squares tasted old too. Will NEVER be back!

Just tried to place an order and they told me they didn’t want to do my cake... that’s the rudest most unprofessional mess I’ve ever heard. One bad experience with them leads to two...I will never deal with them again. They lucky I was giving them a second chance. They act like they are the only ones that make cakes. It’s best that I don’t deal with them because the first time they gave me a frozen cake that couldn’t even be cut
First of all I use to be employed here a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to say it as it is..1. The cakes that y'all get and all the show cakes for birthdays and the little pastrys up front are so old. They make them and keep them in a freezer. When you order a cake they make it right away and store it in the freezer as well so everything you are getting from there is old and frozen. They do not wear face mask in the back while making the cakes and they do not wash there hands. The people in the back mixing the cakes and and baking them also do not wash there hands or wear mask. This place lies and says everything is fresh and that they just made it but it's a lie. The people who own this store do not care about health or even the people working there. Go there to get what you want but just know that it's not fresh like they say it is and they don't care about making it safe there are no gloves and even if they have some they would not let us use them because they wanted to keep it for display.

Absolutely horrible cake. My son hated it and so did we. I wish I can get my money back. I don't know what happened to this place, but I would not recommend. The cakes are not worth the price. You are better off at walmart. This cake is still sitting here, that's how horrible it tasted. It taste old like it was cooked days ahead and it was so dried out. Also the icy had so much sugar. Never again. Go somewhere else save your coins.

I ordered a cake for Thanksgiving. I asked for Thanksgiving themed and fall colors with no brown or chocolate. First of all, Thanksgiving was spelled incorrectly, the decorations looked like a kid did it and they put purple flowers on it which is not a fall color, looked like they may have messed up in some areas and tried to wipe it off and smeared it. One of the pumpkins was UPSIDE DOWN, The cake and icing was uneven and made no sense whatsoever. The taste wasn't bad but didn't have the butter smell and taste, if you've had their cakes before you know what I'm talking about. We've been ordering from them for years and upon entering you know they're under new ownership. The open sign on the building doesn't work, the display case disgusting, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I ordered a strawberry cake they said they couldn’t do it. They said they can do a Chantilly cake and didn’t have any strawberries what so ever in there. Then they didn’t even do the color of the cake i wanted right. I asked for blue n white they made a pink n white cake. I hate it don’t order from them.
