Love, love, love this place and their staff.....just got the most special dual graduation cake....especially during these uncertain times we have to cherish the important milestones. Both times I have had the pleasure of placing an order with Brandi she has surpassed my expectations with her sweetness and professionalism. Extremely satisfied customer.
Every time I make a trip to Baton Rouge, I order a cake a couple of days before. Yes, they make old-fashioned, sweet icing cakes, but that is what I like about it. I don't want any fruit filling, etc., just old-fashioned buttercream icing. All I can say is to ask them to put less icing on a layer cake or just get a one layer sheet cake, thereby decreasing the amount of icing. Coffee or hot tea pairs well with a cake this sweet. My fav is the traditional wedding cake ~ almond...
My husband and I selected Baum's to do 2 photo cakes for our 50th Anniversary Celebration at Oak Lodge in Baton Rouge. We both grew up in Baton Rouge and knew that Baum's has a long well earned reputation for taking care of their customers.
