Our food was very disappointing. Chargrilled oysters came out cold and congealed. Watermelon salad had tiny shrimp on top. The onion soup was all bread. The service was slow considering the restaurant was fairly empty on a Saturday night.

The service was very slow today. Im thinking someone may have been out sick as the manager was very helpful making sure we got what we needed.

They make food that feels personal.

Fabulous food, service and drinks. Brunch on Sundays is awesome. Just dropping in for a drink from great bartenders is worth the stop.

Always a great place to dine and even gather for small plates and drinks—great stylish atmosphere and patio.

One of our favorite restaurants in town and highly recommend but we had a less than stellar up and down experience at our latest visit. Upside is we had Philippe as our waiter - maybe the best and most professional waiter in Baton Rouge. Cocktails were on point. Meal was a little hit or miss. I had the market fish - I chose the Amberjack. The fish was cooked to perfection but the portion was meager. The risotto was a serious miss - very stiff, dry and lukewarm with little flavor. The charred broccolini was done very well. Our other plate was the scallops which were good but again the portions were a disappointment. We got the lemon blueberry cake which came with a raspberry drizzle (neither of us care for raspberry) which was not mentioned on the menu. This visit did not live up to the cost which was considerable given the portions. We will be back to try again - every restaurant has a off day sometimes but I hope this isn’t a trend.

Great pick fire a romantic and cozy date night. The food was wonderfully prepared and the staff was attentive but not intrusive. Not too busy at 6pm when we went and we dis the dining room over the bar area. I had the 8oz filet and the wife had the stuffed Drum fish. The crab stuffed shrimp are a must as well as the pecan praline bread pudding!

The ambiance here is sleek, sophisticated, and low-key—perfect for a more intimate dining experience. We visited on a Saturday and were surprised at how quiet it was, which worked in our favor since we reserved a private dining area for a retirement party. The setup was perfect, and the staff and our server were incredibly attentive, helpful, and thoughtful throughout the evening.

For drinks, we ordered a variety which included espresso martini, lemon drop martini, champagne margarita (table favorite) and blackberry bourbon lemonade. I don’t think you can go wrong on any of the drinks offered.

For appetizers, we tried the raw oysters, blue crab claws, tuna tataki, and brussels sprouts. The standouts were definitely the tuna and brussels sprouts—both were outstanding! Even my daughter, who usually avoids raw fish, went back for seconds on the tuna.

For entrees, we ordered the brown butter drum, crawfish Mac & cheese, and the tenderloin. The drum was okay—nothing particularly memorable. The crawfish Mac & cheese was amazing-creamy and cheesey! The portion is very generous and can be shared. Unfortunately, my fiancé had to send his tenderloin back as it was overcooked, which was a bit disappointing.

While the service and starters were excellent, I found the entrees a bit underwhelming for the price. That said, I would consider coming back just for the tuna, crawfish Mac & cheese, and brussels sprouts, and perhaps to try a different main course.

We had a really great dinner at this restaurant recently so thought we should try it for lunch. Had a disappointing and expensive fried oyster salad. The oysters did not seem recently fried and can't say I loved the salad dressing.

We had a terrible experience here for dinner! First of all, there were several fruit flies all around the bar and dining area, no matter what section you were in. We ordered the seafood tower and chargrilled oysters and were very disappointed. The seafood tower was extremely underwhelming and not worth the $165 price. The chargrilled oysters were severely overcooked and dry as a bone. You can see in the photo only one oyster had any juice and the rest were DRY and tiny. We came because it was highly recommended but left hungry and disappointed. Only redeeming quality was that our waiter and bartender was great.

Food and service were pretty good, a little slow due to the high volume associated with graduation weekend. Lobster roll was not the traditional format, more of a lobster salad sandwich than a lobster roll.

We ordered the Linguini, Provential Chicken and Pot de creme. Both entrees were excellent. We didn't eat our full meal so we requested to go boxes. At that point we ordered the pot de creme to go as well. when we arrived home, our meals we literally dumped upside down into the box and were a complete mess. The pot de creme was literally 1 mm deep with watery chocolate topped with the creme. It was very disappointing. I tipped more than 20% so I'm not sure why this happened. Our waiter was Josh.

Excellent food and service. The chargrilled oysters were very good and the hickory salmon was maybe the best salmon I ever had, south of Alaska. Highly recommended.

Opentable Diner

I had high hopes for Beausoleil, but unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. From the moment we were seated, service was nonexistent. We waited over 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our table, except the wonderful hostess who brought us water, and when our server finally arrived, she was shockingly dismissive. To make matters worse, when I requested to swap the spirit in my cocktail for tequila, I was blindsided by an outrageous $60 up charge. I understand that premium substitutions can come at a cost, but this was excessive and felt downright exploitative. I won't be returning.
