Seriously overpriced. Food was good, but not that good. Service was fine and ambiance was okay. Poster art and plants.

Great food and bar. The new chef is young but he has some great ideas. Fun place for date night, hanging with friends or informal special evening.

Unique menu. As long as you like the ingredients, it's going to be good. Whoever is crafting the menu is amazing.

The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Fantastic table side service, beautiful ambiance and excellent master chef food.

Espresso braised short ribs, goat cheese and herb grits, extra side of collard greens. Crawfish cakes with corn maque choux. AMAZING!

Wow. We came to visit my son for parents weekend and we never know with to go. We lucked out and found this amazing place. We had the Jamaican pork chop, lobster mac n cheese, and the red fish, and volcano roll for an appetizer. It was all amazing. Nice little quiet - not populated withcollege kids place. Little gem away from LSU.

Excellent meal, service & atmosphere. We had the chargrilled oysters. They were some of the best we have ever had. The bread was wonderful. We also had the seacuterie board. It was all very good. Jim had the 24 oz steak. It was a bit much for me but he enjoyed it. We finished with the goat cheese cheesecake with fresh fruit. It was excellent. Very good dining experience. I would highly recommend.I almost forgot, we had some duck spring roll for appetizer that was exceptionally good. This might have been the best part of the meal. The spring roll & the oysters alone are worth the stop.

Very yummy choices! Must get the Brussels sprouts for a starter - could've eaten 10 plates of them! Great service and a good atmosphere!

Great restaurant. They serve a very unique menu, and everything we have tried has been so good. We went again and had the Seacuterie board, Truffled fried oysters and the Espresso braised short rib, and everything was delicious.

My husband and I stopped in for happy hour today. This was our first time at Beausoleil. Kudos to them for still having their weekly happy hour on Valentine's Day! Most of the other restaurants did not have their usual happy hour. Also, it's nice to be able to eat at anywhere in the restaurant and experience happy hour. We chose to sit outside on the patio because the weather was so nice. The hostess was nice let us pick which table we wanted. The restaurant has a cute southern bistro vibe. We started off with cocktails: old fashioned & French 75 ($5 each)! For food: the Lobster & Crawfish mini tacos, the Duck and Crawfish spring rolls, & the Beausoleil Burger. The spring rolls and burgers were good. My husband wasn't a fan of the mini tacos. Also, i don't believe there were any crawfish tails in the springs or the tacos. The burgers and fries were good. The burger just needed more seasoning, but the beef was real quality! We will definitely be back for the drinks and to try out their brunch menu!

I'll start with the service was great. However we order their seafood tower $150. Oysters were tiny. I ordered The ribeye. And was told they were out of it. So I ordered the filet $55. It was the worst steak I've had in a long time. Burnt on the outside. Didn't even finish it Oh the potatoes with it are better at kfc if that tells you anything They were old and dried out. Our total bill was $350. Ya know I would expect much better for that
