End of the school year dining for the kids. All food was devoured, no need for take home boxes. My salmon was cooked perfectly.

Amazing service and food. We always try to go when we are visiting Baton Rouge. Delicious brunch.

Do not order the French dip sandwich. Super thin slices of roast beef, battered, and fried to a crisp (thin like crispy potato chips) between two giant croutons. Just a choking hazard! Impossible to eat. On the other hand, my daughter said the carrot soufflé was the best she's ever eaten.

Waitress was very nice, but couldn't get our order straight to save her life. We ordered a bottle of champagne, but they didn't have that brand - no problem. She forgot we ordered an appetizer, she couldn't remember to big my wife her coke. She sold us on a desert with fruit, but didn't remember to bring us the fruit. Everything else was great - food, atmosphere.

Ryleigh, our waitress, was friendly and courteous. Food was average at best. The location in Mandeville was much better.

Only three full tables inside and they had the loudest music with the treble turned all the way up. I asked them to lower it, we ended having to sit outside. It was still too loud. The menu is basic American. The french part is in the name only. A burger is still just a burger-but their unremarkable burgers are $16. The gumbo and the fried green tomatoes were good.

It was not a good experience. We called to add a person to our reservation and when we got there, it wasn't changed and they crammed us into a small table. Four of the eight of us ordered dishes with rice and as the meal was getting served, they told us they ran out of rice for two of them. Out of rice in Louisiana. People that got the two with rice felt guilty as Mac and cheese didn't compliment their entree. Then they offered desserts as compensation, so when we ordered the four desserts, they only comped one. The creole pot roast had no flavor and tasted as it was made and frozen in portions and the seared tuna tasted like frozen prepackaged tuna. Our server was sweet, but that was the only thing this restaurant had going for them.

I’ll start off saying I have always gone here and have always been a big fan up until recently. Last night I thought let’s give this place another try so my husband and I went last night for dinner. I ordered the tuna with the Asian glaze and my husband ordered the burger. We also ordered the spinach dip and enjoyed it! But when my meal came my tuna was still pretty raw (I know that’s common for tuna but it wasn’t to my liking) the presentation was terrible with the sauce splattered on the plate. I let the waitress know and they sent it back to get cooked more. In the meantime my husband received his burger and enjoyed it. When I got the tuna back it looked terrible. The rice was hard and the sauce was jelly like and burnt (pictured below) tasted and looked terrible for a $20 meal. They did take the tuna off the ticket.. especially because at that point dinner was over. NOW here’s the part that made me really want to write this review. As soon as we left my husband started feeling sick and has been sick all day throwing up, etc (if you know what I mean) the burger messed him up. So disappointed.

I am always disappointed by this place. I had the shrimp and grits. For once I am gad the portions were small, because the sauce was bitter and no flavor. The shrimp cold. I also had one draft beer for $9. The six pack at the store is $10.99. Byron's you got to do better! The food quality keeps going down and the prices up.
