Review:

They offered free samples, which immediately caught my attention—and the food was genuinely good. Portions are very generous, definitely filling and great value for the amount you get. The staff were extremely sweet and friendly, which made the experience even better.

The only downside is that there’s a 6% Surcharge credit card processing fee, which is something to be aware of. Overall, still a solid and enjoyable place.

the food was good the first time, they give you a lot. but i just went back yesterday to the same order, opened it today for lunch and saw they had given me someone else's order. i ordered noodles with green beans and black pepper chicken. tried to call them and there was no answer

It is a solid Asian/Chinese inspired take out food. If you want deliciously gluttonous sweet fried chicken dishes, this is your place. Curry Mei fun is good. You don't see that at many places. Their dishes are a unique blend of many different Asian foods and American Chinese take out. The workers are more than happy to let you sample and they hook up the portions. Well, worth the money.

Only disappointed as they continue to charge extra fees to use a debit card too. They have a sign displayed that service fees are on credit cards only. But as you can see I was charged 2 different prices Although I used a debit card.

The staff is always so friendly. The portions are huge for the price. The black pepper and Cajun spicy chicken cannot be beat. This place will not be let down.

The Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana, Opelousas Unit would like to thank The Main Event BR Staff for providing a fun, safe, and memorable experience. Our group received Five Star Treatment all across the board. If you are looking for a place where kids of all ages can come and just be kids this is it. The attentive staff made sure we were welcome in every space. Adults there is something for you as well. The food is delicious and made to order. Ms. Christian helped our kids create memorable moments on today. Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!

Spent $60 on a game card and most of the games either were broken or took your money when you swiped your card. So disappointing and honestly a waste of time. Just make the drive to the city and go to Dave and Busters like we should have.

My wife and I both ordered Pad Tia here with no bean sprouts, one with tofu and one with chicken and received vastly different meals. We also requested that the meal be extremely spicy and received toddler friendly spice levels. This place serves far from authentic Thia food even when they make it to order instead of something already prepared. Extremely disappointing.

There was also a language barrier either from not knowing English or feigning ignorance and having to rely on a less motivated staff member to translate which led to some information about our dishes not getting through.

I would recommend trying the food they have premade and only ordering that to avoid the issues we had.

When I first ate here a few years ago the food wasn't as greasy, nor as sweet. Please go back to your old recipes. Especially the Thai chicken. I ate here on Friday and grease was running into my bag and settled into the bottom of the container! It was way too sweet. Fix this, please.

My wife and I were just passing through and were offered a sample. That's all it took! The employees were friendly and gave us a sample of all 5 types of chicken. I have a hard time believing some of the one star reviews that say the food was nasty. They will let you try anything before you buy it. We ended up getting the 3 meat meal and 50/50 noodles and rice. Everything was great! Everytime we visit Baton Rouge, we make Bistro Thai a priority destination.
