Sad to have to change my rating. The beau surprised me with cookies and macaroons from this place yesterday and it reminded me why I no longer frequent them. The cookies AND the macaroons were STALE. They tasted like they had been sitting in that display case for at least a week, at least. One look at their IG page and I see there were crawfish cookies and macaroons freshly made on May 13th. Yesterday was May 22nd so if those were the same batch we are talking almost TEN DAYS old. Yuck. I'm sure when they first bake things they are DELISH but to continue selling Day and week old products, eww. I will personally stick to cupcakes or whole cake slices- the coconut cream one and I'll have to make sure it's baked on the same day, otherwise I'll pass.

They truly picked the best name for their shop...Bliss is what you feel after biting into one of these little bits of heaven. I've tried the chubby hubby, red velvet cupcake, throwback Thursday cupcake, butter cookies, and chocolate chip cookies. Everything was seriously heavenly! On one of my visits here I got to speak with the owners mother and sister. They were both so super friendly! We got to talking and I mentioned how I'm also missing the Thursday's they do Throwback Thursday. They offered to do it for me that coming Thursday to make sure I can get a chance to try it! How sweet! Sure enough, I came in on that Thursday and it was every bit as good as what they said it would be. The cake in all that I've tried have been fall apart moist. This is a nice little sweet spot in the mall and worth stopping at. Enjoy a cupcake sitting outside on the boulevard! Oh, and by the way, did you know that the owner was 18 years old when she opened up this location, which is her second location? That is so awesome to me!
