I requested a bag of chips and salsa to be part of my to go order. The manager explained they were available for a $2.50 charge, after which time I had already paid for my order. I asked if I dined-in if there was a fee, she indicated there was no charge in that case! Not concerned about a mere $2.50, but the principle of this is ridiculous, in my opinion. I left with no chips, lol and had prior tipped 20%.
There are better Mexican food options in Baton Rouge, and chips are always a bonus. Blue Corn has lost my business.

We came in tonight and Tony was our server. I ordered one plain taco with only steak and cheese and one with only chicken and cheese. When the food came back the chicken taco had peppers and I took one bite of the steak taco and the steak was tough and bland. I told the server I didn’t like my meal and he asked what was wrong with it. And told him i can’t do peppers and the steak was bland and he took the food away and didn’t ask me if I wanted something else. He came back with our check and didn’t comp my food off that I didn’t eat and I told him and he asked me again what was wrong with my food with an attitude . He then sent the manager on duty over to talk to me who again asked what was wrong with my food. I explained to her the situation and she brought my updated check and checked us out. Not the best service.

Traveling through! Omg do not miss this place! We just stumbled upon it. Let me tell you we were tiered and starving. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! Amazing food! It was presented beautifully and within a reasonable time. The wait staff was very kind. The atmosphere was really nice and the prices are very reasonable. I had three tacos with rice and beans and their yummy tortilla soup! My Hubby had the senora burrito. We also ordered of guac and we both had leftovers. Holy cow. The bill was about $62 but we drank ice water. I will be back for Margaritas sometime soon!

Always a great time over here. We got our go to, (steak Fajitas).
AMAZING. Margaritas weren't the best. My fiancé could tell that they were NOT hand shaken and it was just a mix. Not the best look for a restaurant as NICE as this place. Overall, the customer service was great, outdoor patio was beautiful, and the music was perfect for Saturday evening. We will definitely come back for the atmosphere, just hope a little more care is provided for the margs!

Guajillo shrimp rice dish was bland. The broccoli was surprisingly seasoned and the rice was average at best. The frozen mix drinks were pretty tasty.

The staff were so great. Not a huge fan of the menu and probably some of the highest priced Mexican food that I've seen. But everything seems clean and efficient.
