I went to place a to go order and sat at the bar. I sat for over over 5 minutes and was never approached by anyone. There were a few people that appeared to be employees but was never acknowledged. So, I called twice while I was sitting at the bar and still no answer. Tried to support black business but if this is the service I receive, I definitely won’t be back. Would love to talk to owner.

I went here for Sunday brunch with my husband and the 1st red flag was it looked dirty and had a mold like smell after waiting on the host to finally sit us after a 5min wait, we were the 1st people there so I don't understand the wait. After they sat us with no menus I still tried to give this place a chance we waited 10 min with no menus then when they bring them they were filty dirty and the lady just dropped them off and walked off without even asking if we wanted drinks at that point I was like this place is not professional the waiters are literally at the bar eating,joking and on their phones. We got up and left and they didn't care this business is a joke, zero stars, and I do not recommend horrible service.

This menu did not disappoint! The atmosphere was such good energy, good music, and colorful greenery everywhere. The service was wonderful and FAST. We ordered crawfish nachos, wings, and snd fried chicken. This was hands-down some of the best food I've EVER had. Everything was loaded with flavor and cooked perfectly. We cannot wait to go back.
I see they remodeled since the last time I was there. Food was brought out hot and tasted excellent! Enjoyed the music and atmosphere on a Friday night

After work my girls and I wanted to have drinks and eat a entree' so I recommended boil and roux bc I follow them on IG WE arrived at 5:30pm we went to bar ordered our first drink, so I asked about if we sit outside would someone come serve us she said yes so a hour goes by no service, a couple comes sit In the section where we were, me and my girls still no service, the couple got service the whole time they was there we lik where is our server , bout 8: 30p my sister had to ask them again finally a server, she came but then threw our drinks there and rushed off. We like to support our black owned businesses but not if we gone get treated like nobody and after all the money we spent there, my sis in law spent like $100 by herself. Food and drinks was awesome but service was horrible.Parking: NA

I had an amazing time! The food was very good. The service was excellent and the ambiance was definitely a vibe. I was invited to a cousins outing. I read the reviews and was apprehensive because I live in New Orleans, did I really want to drive all that way for mediocre food? My Cousin promised me it would be an absolute good time. I have to tell you; she did not lie! When we came in we were warmly greeted by the hostess, she showed us to our table.Our server was the best! He gave Friendly advice about the menu. While none of us ate the brunch Buffett we did order from the brunch menu and had the mimosa tower. Our food was hot and well seasoned. We had good portions and the prices were not over the top. The DJ kept us moving! We also got hookah while there. We stayed there from 2-6 and there was never a dull moment. Everyone was having fun enjoying all that Boil and Roux had to offer! Definitely worth the drive! I can't wait to go again

The most sad and awful service for a restaurant in Baton Rouge. I ordered wings to go. Gave a $20 bill and they couldn't make change. Furthermore, I had to wait for 30-40 minutes for the damn order. A pitiful place.

This place has some bad reviews, but my experience today was positive. The chargrilled oysters were excellent. I had the grilled Acadiana catfish and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and service was prompt. I will definitely try this place again.
