The Peruvian food was something new for me. But It was a great experience. I recommend something called la causa rellena and obviously the chicken! the price according to the delicious food and good service!
Baton Rouge has a real gem in Brasas! We found this place by accident when we were looking for tasty and unconventional eats one evening. We each decided to try the Lomo a lo Pobre (we did the chicken), and it was absolutely scrumptious. The service was very prompt and polite, and we felt like the meal was a fantastic value. Give Brasas a shot!

Positive first experience. Went for late night dinner at this new spot in town. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Beef empanada was tasty- spicy & sweet with powdered sugar dusting. Had marinated beef dish with vegetables, rice, plantains (fried egg on top) and fried potatoes. It was very good. I would try chicken dish next time, as this appears to be their specialty. The price was a bit steep for the beef entree, but seemed authentic and served with love! ♥️♥️
