Burgersmith Highland at Old Perkins Rd (Next to Blue Bayou)

I feel conflicted because I love this place and frequent it. But I was blown away when I saw $1 service fee for "ordering a online". This is getting out of hand. If you can't get your return on investment from additional orders that software brings you then do away with the software. That's pisspoor management. Moreover, the worker gets none of that. After paying more than $21 for a burger and fry and no drink, I'm then expected to tip on top of a fee. That ends today. I'm either not going to burger smith anymore or you are gonna start paying your workers. I will not be paying premium prices on top of fees on top of tips on a to go order. That's insane.

I ordered a bowl of chili. I received a 6 oz cup of chili. It was tasty but very salty, and certainly not worth $11 especially since it is listed on the menu for $5

Bee coming to this location since it opened and love the staff. Just had to be a part of it. Now I'm a server at this location. And I love every single moment here.

Our server was very prompt and knowledgeable of the establishment. He very obviously loved his job and service was amazing. The fries were made in house and the flavor profile was fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Amazing place to visit during lunch or dinner. Always do takeout, but did something different by dining on a Saturday with a family of 4. Mariah was very attentive, with a big smile & so much energy. She never missed a beat. Will definitely be dining in more due to our experience with her.

I got the wagyu burger and asked for medium rare. I brought it home to eat and it’s rare. So rare it’s falling apart. I spent $22 and couldn’t eat it. I did take pictures

Came here while on vacation; great vibes and menu selection. Sat at the bar, Adrianne was the bartender and did a great job taking care of us while we were there. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Upon walking in we were told there would be a wait (many open tables). So our party of 3 sat down. A few minutes later a man who appeared to be a manager, approached asking why we were sitting down waiting and immediately sat us. Here's where the bad started, our waitress, don't remember her name but was working on 6/13/24 at approximately 6:30PM smaller white woman with dark hair(calls everyone "Baby"). She was obviously high on uppers and downers. From her jerky movements and almost falling asleep standing up. She walked over with a beer, lost balance while standing still and began to fall over, couldn't hold herself up and spilled the beer on the floor (clealry from the drug induced state she was in). The entire experience was just uncomfortable and embarrassing that they would allow someone in this state to work and interact with customers. Most likely won't return.

You may wonder why with my high ratings for food, service and atmosphere. I left only one star for my review. I do love a good burger. The service and atmosphere are generally good. Recently, however, I went to this location for lunch. Spending part of my time driving there, I spent another part of my allotted time waiting for the hostess to attend to me in an empty restaurant. Once I did get her attention she informed me that I could not be seated because they were working on a large takeout order and until that was completed they weren't serving anyone. I later spoke to the manager who explained his reasoning which was a little more than a rationalization. At which point he told me that he hoped I'd change my mind and forgive them, and hung up on me. This was their manager.

Not a bad spot but nothing special. Just a burger spot but slightly overpriced. They charge an extra $1 for jalapeños and $1 for bourbon bbq sauce on a $12 burger?Nice staff though. Just not for me.

I stopped in to get a burger and this place really exceeded my expectations. The burger I had was amazing and the draft beer was excellent. The staff was very friendly.
