I've been looking for a new spot for good Mexican food after my baby El Rancho closed. Did this place hit the mark? Not really. But, the service was kind! Food was where it kinda fell off. It gets the job done but almost feels as though it came from a chain resturant. Would I go again? Ehhhh maybe. The tacky interior makes me feel good though. Religious signs and decor ehhhhhhh. Not really cute or necessary but hey, your place your decorations. Just that not everybody cosigns to what you believe. Food was meh and service sufficed!
I've ordered now 4 times & every time is Perfect.

We’ve picked up takeout from here a couple of times it’s not that it’s bad. It’s just not great and the prices are about average with everywhere else.

The tacos al carbon were good. The refried beans were terrible. Very expensive. Won't go back anytime soon.

Food is very mediocre. Do not recommend if you are looking for real mexican food. Its expensive too for what they serve (2 enchiladas, a tamales plate. One Sprite and one coffee was $35 plus tip.

Not the best Mexican food i've had. Can't eat tomatoes & asked for none. Taco Salad came with anyway. They took back but told me they cook the beef in with the tomatoes. Substituted steak but just not very good.

Came for tacos, stayed for the chaos behind the bar. Kyle, the bartender, made me a drink so strong I complimented a ceiling fan and Venmo’d my ex $20 “just in case.” Watching him mix drinks is like watching a raccoon do magic—confusing, loud, and weirdly impressive. Ask for his “signature cocktail” if you want to question your life choices and hear a monologue about his gym routine. 10/10, will emotionally recover soon.

Tex-Mex Casa La Vida is a fantastic place to dine, whether you’re out with friends or enjoying a meal with family. The food is absolutely first-class—everything from the tacos to the enchiladas is packed with flavor. No matter what Mexican dish you choose, you’re in for a treat! Their beans, in particular, have a rich and exquisite taste that stands out.
The service here is also outstanding. The staff is attentive, friendly, and ensures everything is just right. Whoever took our order did an excellent job, making the dining experience even better.
Now, let’s talk about the margaritas—simply amazing! They are flavorful, strong enough, and served with the same great service that makes this place special.
I really, really recommend Tex-Mex Casa La Vida. If you’re looking for delicious food, top-notch service, and amazing margaritas, this is the place to go!
