I’m not big on traditional TexMex with the standard rice and beans, so I always order a la carte at these places. Today for lunch I had a crispy beef taco and a beef tamale. They were both so delicious, especially the tamale! The beef in the tamale tasted like it had been grilled! Our server was sweet and attentive, and virtually instantaneous.
I went with a friend and this was her choice but I’ll definitely be back. Nothing really wrong with the atmosphere, just old and outdated but so what? Was there for Sunday lunch with a friend, didn’t need a romantic atmosphere.

I have never seen more unprofessional managers, and staff in my life. They call a problem and they refuse to fix it. I used to come here three times a week never coming here again both of the managers need to check their attitudes.

The food is not the issue. The audacity of our waiter to alter our receipt and add money to his tip is next level. My family visits this location every weekend and sometimes during the weekdays with my in-laws. During our last visit our total was increased by $10. Updated due to the tip. Customers beware and bring cash only.

The food was very regular. We ordered steak tacos al carbón and the rice and beans looked and felt definitely recycled. The tacos only had 2 pieces of steak each. Very Very minimal compared to the same dish at other restaurants in the area. This was our first time and the service was also regular, we brought up the issue to the waitress attention and she said she was going to tell the manager and then nobody came to talk to us and she never brought up the issue again. Also the bathroom appears to lack a cleaning crew from the main door to the floors. We were not impressed.

Our friend was not allowed to bring her small, well-behaved dog onto the patio. She was asked to leave. But the guy smoking cigarettes on the patio was okay according to the owner.

They charged me for soda water.

They added a gratuity automatically even though there were only 5 people in our party.

Food was just kinda average and definitely overpriced. And it took a long time to come out.

I won't be coming back.
