Service was great. Food was ok. I had fried green tomatoes and it was good but it didn’t taste like FGT with so much other stuff added to them. I had the Brussel sprouts which were good but way too sweet that I had to give them back and asparagus and it was good. It was very pricey. I enjoyed my daughter and grandson company in a cozy atmosphere.

We had our anniversary dinner at Cecilia's and it was a 10/10 experience. From the service at the hostess stand to the service at the table, the whole team was smiling and friendly. I ordered the pomegranate martini and it was spot on—not too strong and not watered down. For dinner we ate the redfish and the grouper—served with grits and collard greens and corn macaque choux and Brussel sprouts which will change your life! So delicious. And for dessert we were gifted a chocolate chip brownie topped with ice cream. Everything we ate was served piping hot and the serving portions were significant; I had the leftovers the next day for lunch and my husband was commenting on how good they smelled. We can't wait to go back! PS: even the music was great!

We got the eggroll appetizer and it was great! For entrees, we got the jerk chicken and short ribs. Both awesome! Our waitress was so sweet and knowledgeable. We will be back.

Get their red fish. The red beans and rice are the best I have had. 5/5. Evan G is the man!

The bartender did not understand the meaning of "dirty" martini. Very not dirty and with a lemon peel. That's not what I was expecting. I ordered the Blackened Red Fish. The fish was charred, not blackened. I sent it back and they replaced it with grilled red fish. It was cooked perfectly. I did not care for the bowl of mashed potatoes, greens, and fish. Too much liquid, and too salty. I have dined here twice before and it was better then.

Great experience. Refreshing not to have a large menu. A little loud but the greatness of the food overshadowed that. The crab cake and Brussel sprouts were very good

We went to celebrate our 51st anniversary. Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. The restaurant is beautiful and a great place to celebrate. Will be back again.

The quality and taste of the food was outstanding as was the service. I was seated with my reservation right away and the hostess was very accomodating. The restaurant was almost full but we were able to have a conversation in a normal tone of voice. It was an excellent evening out.

My wife already wants to go back. Her 6 oz. filet was perfect, and she said better than a steak restaurant. My spare ribs were very good, as was her Cecelia salad and my sensation salad. The chocolate-raspberry pot de crème was fantastic. We loved our server who could not be friendlier and outgoing. My only complaint is that both fish options come with crawfish toppings. I'm not a fan of crawfish incorporated in dishes—especially out of season. I would prefer some non-crawfish-topped fish options. Nevertheless, we will be back.

First Time at Cecelia Creole Bistro and WOW! I finally made it to Cecelia Creole Bistro after having it on my list for quite some time. The restaurant has a really nice ambiance, though it's on the smaller side (I believe it may be the old Restaurant IPO location). Because it was the last day of Baton Rouge Restaurant Week, we decided to order off their special menu and it did not disappoint! We couldn't resist also adding a half pan of their famous skillet cornbread, and it was just as indulgent as it sounds. Honestly, it's hard to even break the courses down because every single dish was spectacular, cocktails included. Starters: * Crispy Pork Belly with Caramelized Peaches & Bourbon - the flavors were perfectly balanced, rich yet bright. * Summer Corn Chowder with Yukon Gold Potatoes & Bacon - comforting, creamy and full of flavor. Entrees: * Short Ribs over Gruyère Grits with Asparagus topped with Bordelaise, it was melt-in-your-mouth tender and decadent. * Black Grouper over Brabant Potatoes with Sauce Soubise & Green Tomato Chow Chow - my personal favorite! The acidity of the chow chow paired beautifully with the richness of the sauce Soubise. Desserts: * Donut Bread Pudding with Powdered Sugar Glaze & Sprinkles * Cornbread Tres Leches with Steen's Cane Syrup Whipped Cream - the Tres Leches stole the show. The flavor of the Steen's whipped cream took it to another level! Cocktails: We tried the French Martini, Lemon Drop Martini, and their specialty Fig-Infused Old Fashioned. Each one was perfectly crafted and elevated the entire experience. We dine out often, and I can confidently say this was one of the best meals (and service experiences) we've had in a long time, easily the best of the year so far. Cecelia Creole Bistro is an absolute 5-star restaurant, and we can't wait to return! Pro tip: Because the space is limited, I highly recommend making reservations.

We are from Montana and had the aligator, cornbread and seafood pasta. Everything was fantastic. Well worth the stop. Thanks so much

Cozy restaurant within an easy walk from our hotel. Some nice flavors and offerings but generally saltier than we are used to. The fried alligator dish was tasty, but overwhelmingly tasted of breading vs alligator chunks. Other dishes were good. The short ribs were tender and meaty.
