Service was great. Food was ok. I had fried green tomatoes and it was good but it didn’t taste like FGT with so much other stuff added to them. I had the Brussel sprouts which were good but way too sweet that I had to give them back and asparagus and it was good. It was very pricey. I enjoyed my daughter and grandson company in a cozy atmosphere.
We had our anniversary dinner at Cecilia's and it was a 10/10 experience. From the service at the hostess stand to the service at the table, the whole team was smiling and friendly. I ordered the pomegranate martini and it was spot on—not too strong and not watered down. For dinner we ate the redfish and the grouper—served with grits and collard greens and corn macaque choux and Brussel sprouts which will change your life! So delicious. And for dessert we were gifted...
The bartender did not understand the meaning of "dirty" martini. Very not dirty and with a lemon peel. That's not what I was expecting. I ordered the Blackened Red Fish. The fish was charred, not blackened. I sent it back and they replaced it with grilled red fish. It was cooked perfectly. I did not care for the bowl of mashed potatoes, greens, and fish. Too much liquid, and too salty. I have dined here twice before and it was better then.
