So for the $21.73 I paid for the buffet I was told THEY CANT COOK THE STEAK WELL DONE. So if you come here be prepared for the food to be bloody. Crawfish was nasty tasted like pure water. The ribs wasn't hitting on nothing and last but not least they have some dry ass rolls. Save your money and go to golden corrall.

So kept hearing decent reviews of CB so drove outside of BR to try it. They may as well not have sushi on the lunch buffet it was terrible. They just stack them on top of each other and cover in plastic wrap. Only 4-5 choices and non were even decent. The fried shrimp are pre battered frozen bland. I tried little portions of many things and everything was less than mediocre. Wife was bold and tried the chicken wings said they tasted rancid. Worst on menu the seafood etouffee. No one was eating the hibachi so I didn't try that. Even the eggrolls and spring rolls were like mush in the middle. Server asked me if I wanted a fortune cookie. I told him no thanks my fortune will be better as long as I don't come back here. We should have walked out as soon as I seen the sushi. Makes my local buffet in BR shine like a Pearl though.

It's our favorite place to eat Chinese food.. Central City is happy to have this place in our town.. the only negative thing I can say about Central Buffet is that the prices on their food have recently gone up an outrageous amount & it's seriously ridiculous! A family of 5 adults, one being a senior with a discount, costs $98 to eat there last night.. we love the food, it's always on point.. seriously disappointed in the cost change! So many people eat there every single day, all throughout the day, there's no reason for this drastic change..

I'm not big on Chinese buffets but my kids love it. This was my first trip to Central Buffet in years and they are still upholding their quality. Food was delicious with options for everyone. My favorite items on the bar were steak anf Walnut Shrimp. The hibachi was clean and well-stocked, with fast service.
