🥡 5 Stars – Sesame Chicken Worth Writing Home About! 🥡

We had an awesome dinner at Cheng’s in Baton Rouge — it’s now officially our go-to Chinese spot! I had the Sesame Chicken, and let me tell you, it was crispy, saucy, and downright addictive. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and I only got one bite before she gave me the look. They were that good.

Our server, Julie, was fantastic — friendly, fast, and made us feel totally taken care of. She had backup too — another server stepped in like a tag-team partner during the dinner rush, and everything stayed smooth and on point. Teamwork makes the sweet & sour dreams work.

Delicious food, great service, and a clean, comfy atmosphere — Cheng’s absolutely nailed it. We’ll definitely be back (probably sooner than we should admit)

Amazing food and great service. You walk in and they treat you like family. We always come, sit, and have a great conversation with the owner. Food is always cooked fresh!

The service and food is some of the best in Baton Rouge! You can tell they cook everything in the restaurant and they don't take shortcuts. The owner came to check on me and made a cocktail for me called "Japanese Water" which was delicious. I will certainly recommend this place to friends and I definitely will be back!

It's good! They have a "homestyle" authentic Chinese menu if you ask, which has additional dishes. We were impressed with the quality of the lion's head meatballs and beef chow fun. The accompanying vegetables were cooked nicely crisp-tender.
