Stayed open late to complete a large order (40+ items). A+.
Food is only hot at lunch time anytime after that you on your own it's cold and
All I can say is a waste of money! The chicken and sweet potato pie were nasty. The last time I visited this location was in 2015, so I decided to check it out since I made a quick stop in the area. However, it was a waste of money, and the customer service was horrible.
Love the Fried Catfish!! Served fresh, hot, not greasy, and seasoned just right!!Thank you so much!!❤❤❤
I don’t know if this location is ever open. Every time I pass by cones are in the drive thru and the parking lot looks half empty. So I travel to my favorite location on Pawtucket.
Support black businesses they say?, well today(05/11/2022), I came to this location on my lunch break around 3pm. I pulled up to the drive-thru and waited for a few minutes but no one never came on the speaker to take my order. I rarely ever frequent Chicken Shack anymore because of unprofessionalism but after today I don’t think I will ever again.
The location in Scotlandville is the WORST. The only reason I came to this one was because of the drive thru. The workers are young and unprofessional, the chicken was tough and the red beans were cold. The location off Pawtucket is the best.
The food was nasty! (Chicken was old, fries were half cooked)! Never going back!!
Food was delicious. Smothered pig ? tails and gravy. The rest is self recognizing. Meat very tender.
They have changed their menu and prices. But still you get what you pay for and it's up to the same standards as Joe and family has stood for in so many years.

Never no more they cancel my order I will never eat here or nor they will ever get my business again
During 2020, this was the spot for hot food, quick and convenient while working. Rice and Gravy, BBQ Hot Sausage/Shrimp/Fish Poorboy's, Fried Chicken some of the classic best batter in town. Sweet Potato pies got me thru hard hungry days and the nice people gave me something to look forward to every time.
I really love the food, but I just don’t understand how a business can be closed every single time I pass by, mostly during peak dining hours. I would love to spend a lot of money at this establishment; however, it is never open, and certainly not open during the hours reflected on Google. Please adjust the hours on Google to reflect your actual operating hours.
Horrible experience. Nasty attitude from worker at drive thru. Never again
I got a meatloaf dinner with cobbler came out to be 12 bucks. I could tell that food was gonna be bussin by the ladies voice taking my order. Super sweet lady working the window. Customer service is great and food was delicious ?
