Delicious soul food, a local favorite. Plate lunches you can order in advance and pick up. Just know it’s popular and crowded and extremely loud, sometimes argumentative amongst a demanding crowd, so I recommend takeout. Food is fantastic though, the sides are incredible.
Today my friend Danika and I went to Chicken Shack. Chekita White and Kris Williams served us amazing food. Mac’n cheese, red beans, fries and a chicken sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff was most importantly so welcoming and friendly. I will tell everyone about this little diamond of a family owned restaurant and I’m coming back for a chicken wrap!

Not only did they mess up my order, but instead of them remaking it after me having to drive back and it being 40 degrees outside (food now cold), they just gave me the 2 missing pieces. It was only 4pcs and a fry.
