I've been eating at China Express since I was in highschool over a decade ago. There has never been a time where they got my order wrong or the quality or portion sizes have been bad. Their service is always great and they've always been kind to me. Literally no other fast food Chinese restaurant compares. They have the most variety, affordable options, consistent quality, and great service.
My favorite is always the Sesame Chicken and Buddha's Delight but you can't go wrong anywhere on the menu.

This is the best Chinese food in Baton Rouge. They are so nice and accommodating. The lady at the front speaks enough English and is so sweet. I’ve been coming here for years. This place is also good if you’re looking for something healthy, but don’t feel like cooking. You just have to know what to order. I LOVE this place.

Friendly worker up front. I like the aquarium. Food has gone downhill the past few times we ordered. Seems a little worse every time, now it’s gotten so bad we are looking for a new spot. Really a shame.

This place used to be SO good. It’s such a shame because the portion size is great. The eggrolls are good! I like that they don’t put onion in it. Don’t order the general tso with lo mein. It is very bland. Even adding soy sauce doesn’t help.

It’s so upsetting to see how this place has declined through the last few years. What once was the gem of Baton Rouge’s Americanized Chinese food has worked its way to the bottom of the list. Bland “spicy” general tso with bland lo mein. Sweet and sour sauce was great, but the pork that goes with it was tasteless as was the fried rice somehow

I ordered the Singapore Rice Noodles — omg, they were so tasty! Absolutely delicious. The lady at the front was also incredibly sweet and humble.

Last evening I ordered Shrimp with Chinese vegetables and usually is the best in BR. Very disappointed with green beans and Broccoli being substituted for bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, celery and those small mushrooms.

It's a small space, but the food and service make up for it. You know good Chinese food is seeved in small, mom & pop restaurants! There is nothing different here.
This is the 1st Chinese food that I can say is good in Baton Rouge.
The hot & sour soup is flavored different from what I am used to, but it's still good.
The honey shrimp was crisp and flavorful
The noodles were a tad bit salty for my liking but were cooked just right
The ragoons were done properly and the egg roll was a perfect addition to the meal.
The tables, floors, and counter were all clean as well.
I'll be back to try different items!!!
