Since the business changed owners, the food isn't good at all. The portions are for a little kid and very pricey for the small amount of food they give you.

The owner was so kind. The food was soo good and well seasoned. We baught the fried fish plate with shrimp fried rice. Omg so much flavor and fish cooked to order and it's wild caught! Not that farm raised fish! Would definitely recommend for weekday lunch spot!

I'd say for a $10 lunch, this is legit! A friend recommended I try the fried fish so against my better judgement, I did and I was pleasantly surprised! It took a few minutes but I didn't mind because they cooked it fresh. My fries and fish were still crunchy after I walked back to my desk and I didn't even realize it came with a salad! So if you need a quick lunch, I'd definitely recommend. They also have the Chinese food on the line so it's even quicker!Parking: You'll need to find street parking and most of it is metered. Best to walk if you're in the downtown area.

I went to the old Paul Wong's restaurant in Port Allen and so I sign saying that they were permanently closed but a new restaurant opened in Baton Rouge called Chow Mein. So I figured I would give them a try one day and today just so happened to be that day. I ordered a shrimp and chicken dish which was okay at best. Not even close to the quality of the old place in Port Allen. Also playing with charged more on my credit card then what was displayed in the restaurant. I did leave a tip but it was in the tip jar and not on my card. So if I ever return here again I'll have to double check with the cashier to make sure that I'm not charged the wrong amount again.

The food is good. For the prices they are charging, the portion sizes are generous.I had the catfish plate. 3 strips of extremely fresh, flaky deep fried catfish and a side of the fried rice with a soda for 11$?That’s a great price. And the fish was great and fried rice was also good.If you’re looking to try stuff that you can mix and match with different combinations : American and Asian foods on the food plate, this is definitely something to try.The staff is really friendly and the owners are also on site. Makes me feel valued as a customer.

After I ordered and sat down, I got my drink and waited for less then 5 minutes. The wait was so short and the food was incredible. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place is AMAZING...the cook is a real chef and the quality of ingredients and food show it. A+++ The only draw back... no hot sake & closes before I get off work!!

Paul Wong is a great guy with exceptional southern hospitality. My mom and I are moving from Texas to Florida and stopped by for some soup and rice. This location is under construction but paul welcomed us and shared his lunch with my mom who is 78 years old and wanted soup. Grand reopening in August. Stop by and see Paul and his friendly staff some good food!

The people were so very kind and welcoming. Would recommend! Food was a wee bit salty, but the brussel sprouts were AMAZING!

Phenomenal. Everything I tasted was bold and flavorful. The chicken was juicy and tender. Will definitely be back!
