My wife, toddler, and I came here and had a wonderful time. We sat outside, and were served swiftly! We had the chef's dumplings and a Shirley Temple mocktail to start, and they were both very good.
For entrees, I had the Rad Thai and my wife had the Roshi Ramen. My toddler had a bit of both of ours, but loved the Ramen.
Both were very very good, and I highly recommend them!
Our server was very nice and made sure we were taken care of.
This is my go-to spot for ramen, the firebird is a must have item in my opinion! The service is some of the best in BR. The whole staff truly cares if you’re having a good experience!
This place was fire! Our son graduated from LSU and wanted to go there to celebrate as this is his favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. The food was amazing and the drink menu was crazy! Cool, funky decor. Highly recommend.
We definitely enjoyed the crawfish. My son had the cajun style and I tried the chow style.
I always get the Yaki Saki and it is delicious. The tofu is perfect and the fried garlic makes it all amazing. June’s veggie ramen (no egg add tofu) is good but needs Sriracha as I like a bit of a kick, they don’t have any in the restaurant and I think that is weird. They do have chili oil but it’s not the same. Overall solid vegan options
My wife and I have been to Chow Yum multiple times, we have always had a great experience with staff and the food! This is one of the best restaurants in Baton Rouge!
The waiter/bartender was very nice. Extremely polite too. The food....was an acquired taste, however.

Very inviting atmosphere anime theme. Food is delicious and they play anime on the TV at the bar. Staff was great very friendly parking was kind of a hassle but not too far walk from the restaurant. Also have an outside patio.

If I could, i’d leave a zero star review. Ate here with some friends a couple weeks ago. Ordered the tteok bokki, it didn’t sit right with my stomach after a few bites, asked to return or exchange for a different dish. Not only did they refuse, but they made me pay for it. Asked if they could make it better in any way and I asked for just noddles and sauce. They brought it to me and charged me for it as well yet posed it as if my accommodation was free of charge. I was sick for three days from their food. Will never eat here again

Some of the best pork ribs I've had. The ramen dishes were decent and had me wishing I just ordered double pork ribs! But I will be back to try a few more options. The bao looks great so next time for sure!
