So my experience at City Pork on Highland was amazing. The interior was clean and modern. I believe our servers name was Aisha, and I was honestly having a bad day and she made me feel so much better with her kindness and hospitality. My meal was the Pork Belly Hoagie and I would rate that an 8.5/10. I think if it had some pickled onions on it to balance the richness from the pork belly, it would be even more amazing. I had high hopes for this place. I just didn’t enjoy the food. The brisket wasn’t very good. No seasoning and cut the wrong direction which makes it stringy and hard to eat. This is a specialty bbq high end restaurant and you don’t know how to cut brisket and don’t understand salt and pepper go along way. My sampler plate also had ribs, sausage, and pulled pork.
