My daughter goes to LSU. I was looking for a coffee place that WAS NOT Starbucks. Found this gem. It's now my go to place for Beignets and Cafe au Lait whenever I visit. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere.

In short, and contrary to name of the restaurant, this is not really a coffee shop, it more of a restaurant with fried food. The coffee they served was either drip, or a very sweet iced coffee.
I can’t say I’d return.

i love the atmosphere, it's not too cold, it's lively, the beignets are so delicious, the coffee is good and the cocoa is fantastic.
i especially love the opening hours (i come from germany, where cafés don't stay open that late) i can just come here in the evening with my boyfriend, eat, drink, read, chat and do that until midnight. those are my favorite nights :)

Everyone was so nice that worked here! We loved that you just grabbed a cup and got your own coffee. The beignets were fluffy and made to order! With all the powdered sugar on the tables, this place cannot disappoint.

I had the BEC and it was really delicious. The sourdough bread was just perfect in flavor, texture and complimented the rest. I am such a fan of excellent sourdough breads and this was so excellent. Go for it this place 5 star for breakfast.
