A friend recommended this place while we were visiting. First time here went through the drive through. Read the big menu but assumed we would order at the window never saw a speaker to order through. Got to the window and the woman immediately has the worst attitude telling us we needed to order at the speaker I apologized and said we could go back around. She took our order but didn’t even let us finish and went ranting around the kitchen about how no one sees the speaker and she needs to put a highlighted flag in so even a blind person can see it. Acted like we were such an inconvenience for her. I’ve never had such a bad experience with an employee before. At that point I refused to give my money to a business with employees with such bad attitude. Make sure you know who you’re hiring! Won’t return next visit.

We were there later in the evening but wow! Great atmosphere, excellent coffee, fresh beignet’s or beignet fingers. First time I’ve ever seen a 55 gallon can of powdered sugar but given the amount on the beignet’s they need it. It’s a great place for a sweet treat.

I wanted some coffee. Djuana found this place in Baton Rouge. Always game and sometimes skeptical we cruised in. I immediately noticed that this was a gathering place with locals talking, drinking coffee and eating beignets. 50 % full. We didn't know how it worked, but we got in line. There were cups and urns with several types of hot coffee, hot chocolate and cafe au lait. We poured and moved along the counter. I noticed a man who was cranking out Beignets and Beignet Fingers. His name was Claron (sp?) and he was the Heart of this place! Dishing up mounding servings of Beignet fingers with a positive energy, insuring everyone got a full measure!!! Naturely after seeing everyone with this treat and Clarons servings, we ask for a serving of his fingers. We paid out and made our way to bar seating. The Beignets Fingers and Café Au Lait were both deliciously hot... Just right. And the taste, perfect!
The place had a constant stream of folks coming in on a weekday morning!!!
I will tell you this... If you need coffee or beignets. Go see Claron at Coffee Call. You will not be disappointed!!! 5/5⭐'s.

Literally just ordered 2 hot chocolates and a cafe au lait at the drive thru. The person at the counter gave me 1 hot chocolate and 1 cafe au lait, and then argued with me that I had said two apparently. She flat out refused to correct her mistake and shut the window on me! Incredibly unprofessional behavior from the staff. I am definitely never coming back here again. There are way better and nicer coffee shops here in Baton Rouge. I would tell anyone reading this to steer clear.

Someone said if u pass through Baton Rouge or New Orleans make sure to try some Beignets. We did and we absolutely loved them!! Delicious fresh, light n fluffy and powdered sugar coated heavenly fritters! We even brought some home to Texas! Give it a try and u won’t regret it. Coffee Call had great ambience and good food!

Black manager in the morning is rude to customers. I went to the soup area on the 12/24, and he started screaming at me from across the entire dining area “SIR, SIR SIR, We NOT serving soup today”. Like he had to create a big scene to tell me that. There was a half-dozen other employees right in front of me who would have politely told me that anyway. UNPROFESSIONAL, UNFORTUNATELY and on Christmas Eve as well. Poor manners, No Class ! (just read their reply to this 😆)
