We were looking for something different & our Grandaughter Kali picked 3 places & one was CouYons, because she knows her Paw Paw loves BBQ! We went and the Atmosphere was Awesome! Our food came out Hot & very very Delicious! My Maw Maw ordered the Ribs/ Chicken, Corn on da Cob, Baked Beans! My Paw Paw ordered the Pulled Pork, Sausages, Baked Beans & Rice Dressing & I ordered Fried Shrimp Poboy/ Waffle fries that was Soo Big & Delicious & I couldn't eat it all! CouYons has Triple ? ?? Well. Just to help for other customers, be sure to call the customer before substituting for something else, even if it’s similar. If a person leaves you a tip, at least have the decency to give them utensils. The food was great as usual, some of the shrimp was a bit dry.
Alright alright alright nah Cou. Came through probably almost a year ago and had a not so great experience. Let's just say looks like you all take reviews seriously because I sure missed my go to bar b que spot and took a chance and swung through. Only gave what I purchased today a 4 star because I feel like there's better bun out there. Even though it looked and was fresh and toasted just right I just feel there's something better that will make my eyes roll to the back of my head with each bite. Needless to say, the brisket, pork n beans and potato salad hit the SPOT! I look forward to checking out yall new restaurant soon. And so happy to say I'll be back Cou-Yons on Perkins!!!!!!

Based on the recommendations gave Cou-yon's Cajun Bar-B-Q a try. When I arrived I met Kelani who gave me some ideas on what to try…so I ordered the Smoked Sausage Appetizer with smoky sauce and Crawfish Étouffée Over Dirty Rice with Fried Shrimp. The sausage was pretty good but not very “smoked”, the flavor closer to kielbasa and when you added the smoky sauce was a nice appetizer. The Crawfish Étouffée had solid flavor, a little kick, and the rice was a great compliment to the dish. The fried shrimp breading was nice and light, it did not overpower the shrimp flavor and was a nice addition to the dish. I also observed some of the BBQ they had being served and it looked pretty good. The ladies sitting across from me got ribs and there was no need for a doggie bag. Overall good Cajun food and excellent service from the staff there.

Got barbeque here last week and had mixed reviews. The ribs, sausage and beans were fine. However, brisket turned out to be a huge serving of shredded meat which looked and tasted like it had been sitting in water. No beef flavor. And the Cajun rice was full of big chunks of dry meat. Very disappointing and not up to my prior experiences with Couyon's. BTW, my childhood nickname in Cajun country was Couyon. Still crazy after all these years.

We love this BBQ! The loaded potato is huge and I got it with chopped brisket, delicious! The pulled pork nachos are also gigantic and so good! Highly recommended!
I go here when 225 best eats has a voucher. I will usually get the 3 meat plate with coleslaw, hush puppies and banana pudding. I usually order and wait maybe 5 minutes for everything to be ready. The service has always been great and quick. Food is really good. I often will have leftovers for the next day. I think the only thing I'd like would that the hush puppies would be bigger and have a big more flavoring. Otherwise, I enjoy going here for BBQ.

We ordered food on a recommendation from a friend. I was very disappointed. I ordered the Mardi Gras potato with eight additional shrimp. The potato itself was fine but the shrimp were unacceptable. The shrimp was a little bit too salty. And, they were too big not to be deveined! None of the shrimp were deveined! The ribs and smoked sausage were good. The baked beans was also good. The rice dressing was disappointing. And, the brisket was just okay. Also, they were completely out of chicken.
