We are in Baton Rouge for our 39th Jules Family Reunion- -We ate here and everything was delicious. We had the all you can eat shrimp and fish. It was fresh and the gumbo was excellent. The owner and entire staff was so welcoming and kind. Definitely our go to when we come to Baton Rouge!

Gave it 5 stars all the way across the board!! Me and my mom go around trying to find new ,to us restaurants in BR. and we both agreed that Crawford's, has been the best we've had so far!! So if you're close to Essen and Starling Ln I'd suggest you stop in and enjoy some of the many of things they have on the menu.. also they offer free soft serve ice cream 🍦🍨 yummy!!

Just ordered food there I told the server I wanted the all you can eat catfish he read my order back to me, but when my order came out it was not catfish it was tasteless white fish, I told them I was not paying for something I didn't order, the manager came out of the kitchen and instead of making a compromise he got an attitude and said I ordered it I was paying for it,so we left, I paid with a hundred and he tried to keep the change my wife started saying we came from Colorado to eat at this restaurant and have never had a problem like this, and he was rude to her and my daughter aswell. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. And I would also recommend the manager training his servers better, not worth the 100$ not to even be able to have a meal.roaches on the tables maggots inmy wife's gumbo disgusting.

Really went just for the corn nuggets and decided to get a bowl of red beans - the nuggets were fine but the red beans had old chewy inedible rice. The server checked in me once to ask if I wanted a refill and as soon as I said no turned and walked off before I could say anything - couldn’t get her attention so when I went to check out I let her know and she said yeah the rice had been sitting a while and needed To be changed Out - she offered more - no thanks I would not like more old rice the full cup is still on my table and she proceeded to still charge me for it.

This place is by far the best seafood that I have had in at least 20 years. If you are in Baton Rouge,La then you definitely need to swing by and have meal and visit with the owner and staff. It was like I was eating with family. Definitely a 10/10. Mr.Crawford for the wonderful food and memories!
