Restaurant week 2019: could not have loved it more. Food was so good. Service: amazing! Went in a few weeks later on a Sunday and was only offered a very limited “game day” menu with basics like sliders/wings/fries even though there was technically 40 minutes left on brunch. Should have left when we were denied brunch, instead stayed and paid way too much for mediocre bar food. Still on the fence about a 3rd shot.

I have hosted a few events at this place and it's AWESOME! They are very easy to work with and the patio space near the volleyball courts is huge! The food & drinks are always delicious. I'll definitely be hosting more events here!

Horrible service. Waited at this place 55 minutes to have food served. They made us pay in advance so we were stack with waiting. Every time I went to check we were told that it would only be 5 more minutes. When we finally got the food it was cold and the tortillas from the tacos crumbled when held. Won’t be back to this place to spend 50 dollars on their mediocre cold and expensive food. Too bad, the place is otherwise pretty

It's huge open-air bar and activity area, equiped with what looks like a 20- foot screen, is a great place to watch a game.

If you like unique menu selections and spicy style Creole and Caribbean flavors then this is a very good restaurant for you to try. We had a small sampling of items which included the soups, salad and fish tacos and it was all very tasty. The environment is very casual and open which felt very relaxing. The only thing that we think can be improved a bit is the service. Not bad service just not as attentive as we would like. Overall a good choice for a casual dinner.

Good drinks. Nice setup. Volleyball courts and a bar and a restaurant. Did not try any food. Will be back soon to try the food.

Copious space for a large event. The menu is not vegetarian friendly nor is it kid friendly. The focus is on drinking, hence the large bar, and sports. We attended a party here but did not try any of the food or drinks as they were not s suitable for us. Note that the venue is difficult to spot from the road. The main sign is labelled as "The Oasis", not "Creole Cabana", and the building is set far back where it is hard to see from the road, especially travelling eastbound.

Well, new place for oysters probably not going to be back. Thirty minutes for a dozen raw oysters, one hour for chargrilled (they don't turn the grill on until the first order). Don't know how this is my problem since we made it a priority to get here early but whatever. Most likely one of 2 tables there and service was slow as molasses. Frozen margarita had so much sweet and sour I got crippling heartburn! X/

The food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was nice, however my friend requested a sample of the curry, which never came out. Our server was overwhelmed and we had to ask someone else about it, and never heard back, and our waiter eventually admitted that the kitchen lost the ticket and was too busy to get it to us in a reasonable time.

the ceviche is incredible! I go every Friday for one! And the 3 leches pudding bread, great!

Still working a few kinks out on the service end. Food was excellent. We will be back.

The new j*** chicken sandwhich is spicy Heaven. It’s not overwhelming by the house made j*** saucy is tangy especially paired with the house pickled red onions - the charred jalapeño créma (the sauce that comes with the crawfish corn fritters) is a sexy mess. I put the house kettle chips in my sandwhich for that extra cronch ? also that meat plate u see...hello Father’s Day happy poppy

I went with a large group on a Saturday evening. Originally, we made a reservation for 16, but there ended up being only 14 of us, including three children. We made the reservation the day before and when we showed up, we discovered that there was a 40th class reunion going on there. First off, they should have told us about it when we made the reservation. It wouldn't have been bad if they had stayed in the room they had reserved for the event, but they were allowed to congregate in and among the tables in the main dining area, using free tables (or free spaces on occupied tables) to place their drinks on, bumping into people while taking group photos, etc. The waiter kept reassuring us that they would be going outside or to the bar soon, but they never did. Instead they just made a noisy place noisier and way more crowded. They also had a live band in the bar area and since there was a large opening in the wall between that and the main dining are, it was really loud. On top of that, there is almost nothing to absorb sound, so it was impossible to have a conversation with anyone not within two feet and even then we had to yell. Not my idea of a nice evening out with friends, especially with kids. At one point, they had completely reset the private room that had been reserved by the reunion group and not a single person or decoration was in there. We asked if we could go in there to get away from the reunion group and maybe be able to hear each other talk, but we were told in no uncertain terms that we couldn't because the group had reserved it, so it was theirs for the evening. Seriously? We couldn't go in their space, but they could invade ours?? The waiter told us he would get the manager for us, but he or she never came. Then they auto-tipped us. Grrrrr!!! The food was actually decent, but was in no way worth all that. We will never be going back and from the looks of the reviews here, a lot of people feel the same. Oh, and I second the comments about the uncomfortable chairs. They were really difficult to sit in unless you were under 15 years old and scrawny.
