We were passing by and decided to stop in. I've seen them on IG but it was my first time. I was impressed from the parking lot, the aroma was inviting. Upon entering, I noticed the place was clean, soft music was playing and we were immediately greeted by staff. The daily special was salsberry steak, which was perfect because I desired a home cooked meal. The food did not disappoint! To begin, the plate were so heavy it could've fed 2 people. My husband wanted smothered potatoes and I chose rice. The food was soooo flavorful! This place has been moved to the top of my list for southern style cooking. Every item was seasoned to perfection, not overly seasoned. I give them a 20 out of 10, for customer service , presentation, and quality product!

I had broccoli cheese and rice baked chicken and cabbage. The broccoli and rice was spicy. Chicken was dry. I guy taking the other was not customer friendly.

Food was good. Turkey wings was fried too hard and not seasoned, but edible. Spaghetti and cheese and yams were good. Staff was nice. I went after lunch hours, so service was quick, as not many people were there at that time. Lots of seating, clean,bar area wasn't open. Would go back when I'm back in town.

The food was good just to spicy but the customer service was great.
I love their food and I love the portions of food they give. I can literally eat off one plate like 3 times. I always order their fish plate and it comes with two big pieces of fish. Yesterday I ordered through DoorDash and when I received my food I only had one piece of fish. That hurt me deep!!

I had their Wednesday special they were pretty good. The second time I went I got the same thing bc of how much I liked it but the food was cold but that’s wasn’t a big big deal jus heated it up

I asked about the menu opt for the day and the guy point at menu… and took next person it was my first time there ordering the fish platter….didn’t offer me a drink had to get back in line music was ok just a tad loud…sweet potato was on the money 💴
