Great local place. Anything on the menu is excellent. The daily lunch special are a must try. I had the jambalaya and fried catfish. Catfish was crispy, fresh and jambalaya was full of flavor. Also try the seafood stuff

Dempsey’s has some of the best food in Baton Rouge. The roast beef Poboy was amazing. Loved the gravy, tons of tender roast beef, French bread crispy crust with tender soft bread inside. The seafood stuffed potato was incredible, cheesy sauce and full of seafood. Will definitely be making another run soon.
Everything was great, our server was not around at times when we needed but, overall the food surpassed our expectations, definitely going back!Wheelchair accessibility: My 94 yr old mother uses a walker and she had no problem getting in and out of the building

Service was great and food very good, had the Chicken-sausage gumbo it was not warm at all and in fact cold. Waiter never came back to ask about the meal so was never able to tell him.
