the smoke chicken breast used to be sliced actual chicken breast but at this location it tastes, looks, and feels like it came out of a bag from the grocery store sad I didnt even finish eating the chicken this use to be one of my favorite places in baton rouge sometimes your better to serve real food then save a few dollars

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is a popular restaurant that has received mixed reviews. Many customers enjoy the barbecue options, especially the brisket, which is praised for its amazing bark and flavorful taste, though the lean brisket was really tough. The pulled pork was tender but way too salty. The ribs are excellent, chewy, well seasoned, and delicious, even comparing them favorably to other barbecue places. The restaurant offers a variety of sides, including Mac and cheese and potato casserole, which are generally good. The potato salad and loaded mashed potatoes were both good but not great. Customers appreciate the extremely professional and attentive staff and the great overall dining experience. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. It provides spicy, sweet, and original hot sauces on every table, with spicy being a favorite for many. The vibe is loved, and the food portions are large and considered appropriate for the good prices. Overall, Dickey's Barbecue Pit is a place where guests can enjoy flavorful barbecue with a variety of sauces and sides in a friendly environment.
