Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I'll start with the good things first, the staff was extremely professional and attentive to the customers that were present. They ran out of baked beans and came to each table to ask customers who had ordered what they would like to substitute for the item. This place does not have what I consider traditional table service, so I consider that effort a big deal. I found the restaurant to be very clean and well organized, the drink station was immaculate, which is rare. Unfortunately the bad all has to do with the food. The pulled pork was tender and had a great flavor but was way to salty, the lean brisket was really tuff and didn't have a lot of taste. The ribs were the only exception when it came to the meats, chewy, well seasoned, and delicious. The potato salad and loaded mashed potatoes were both good for restaurant sides but not great. Definitely worth a try, could have been an off night when I visited.

Connor in the Arlington Creek centre is a gem ! Conversation was amazing before he made this delightful pulled pork sandwich! KEEP HIM !

I ordered the picnic pack with half pound of sausage, half pound of pulled pork, large fried okra, large potato salad, and five pieces of texas toast. The sweet tea I got was bitter, it had obviously been an old batch probably in the tea urn all day. The potato salad was made with undercooked potatoes. And they didn't put my pulled pork in the bag at all. $58 after tax and tip for food that was about a $15 value. This was my second try for this restaurant after having a similarly disappointing experience months ago. Extremely overpriced for a place with zero quality control.

Great BBQ, karge portions, good service. Fake rustic decor (kinda like the real Cracker Barrel), but it's not objectionable.
Prices are good so, especially for the amount of food you get.

We went in like 10 mins before close and there was 2 girls closing up, they were so nice and helpful one girls name was kaitlyn and i unfortunately didn’t catch the other girls name can’t rave enough about how patient and kind they both were !

Tucked in the corner. Quiet. Great food. Great service. But above everything- the vibe is immaculate. An amazing spot to grab a beer with your friends.

Today on August 1st, 2025 at around 11:00 to 11:30 am I came to this location. I was immediately greeted, which was amazing. The staff is absolutely gold (people on shift at that time, two females and one male) not only was their customer service incredible. The food was too. I will definitely be coming back, and bringing people with me. The employees there should be very proud. It’s not every day you encounter people like that with such a good spirit. Thank you for today, the kindness was absolutely needed ❤️
The food, on point! Best brisket burger I have ever eaten! Oh and the Mac and cheese?!? My lord, my soul melted. Whomever does the cooking there, does it without absolute love and care.

Both the food and the service are fantastic! I ordered a catering order for the office I work for. Stephanie, the catering manager, was immensely helpful helping me get an appropriate amount of food. She delivered it right on time and kept me updated until then. She made sure we had extra sauces, dressings, and garnishes as well as plates, utensils and napkins. Everything was correctly labeled with stickers I could easily peel off and stick next to open containers for serving. The brisket, wings, and mac n cheese were an office favorite. If you need catering with great food and service, use Dickie's !

Came and ate here on 6/20 with some friends and it wasn’t busy which was nice. Ordered the brisket with green beans and coleslaw. The only good part of my meal was the sides. That was some of the driest brisket I have ever had and wouldn’t recommend it at all. My friends all ordered and had the wrong food brought to the table and then one was missing his order of fries and had to ask multiple times before he actually got them. Overall not a place I would be willing to return to based off the food. The reason I am even giving 2 stars is because the sides were at least decent
