First time going here and I will 1000% will be back! The bark on the brisket OMG is amazing! Listen, the flavor is beyond delicious. The spicy BBQ adds that extra something. The ribs are amazing as well. If you have had couyons, honestly this place could take them down. I love both places so they are both my go to. If you haven't been to Dickey's BBQ, you NEED to go try it. And they donate to first responders.
I recently went here under the impressions that it was only for LSU students and when i got here we got a discount just for being a student and everyone was so nice . I got a pulled pork sandwich it was very tasty i love the fact that it was more meaty than fatty . i will definitely be back !!
Had the 2 meat plate ribs and brisket. I got the end of the rack. Two of the ribs were small and tough as leather. The brisket was very flavorful but also very dry.
I've eaten Dickey's in other states, the Baton Rouge location didn't meet their usual standards.
