DiGiulio Brothers Italian Cafe is a wonderful Baton Rouge staple. They have some of the best old-world Italian food. It's like sitting down to a meal at grandma's home. Their atmosphere is great for date night or a quick bite, and their brunch is spectacular. Great food and wonderful service that will keep you coming back.Parking: Parking is on the side of and behind the building.

Super good food, awesome waiters, great wine, nice ambience. You can’t go wrong here. My husband took me here for the first time and they had a packed house! We had to wait nearly an hour to get a table, and even then they were seats at the bar. But the wait was so worth it! They did not disappoint and the bartenders were on point with food recommendations. One of their suggestions was getting the shrimp a la vodka but substitute meatballs for the shrimp. What a great suggestion because it was perfect! Salad was a little acidic for my taste but my husband loved his. And that fried calamari was one of best calamari dishes I’ve ever had. So delicious! Overall we will definitely be back!

We were so looking forward to our valentines dinner here.. my husbands veal in his piccata was tiny. My eggplant and veal were burnt, not even edible. Really couldn’t taste the veal it was more like burnt breading. I ate 1/4 and asked to have it packed up, waitress brought the bill and never brought the left overs back. We figured, no big deal it wasn’t anything to make a big deal over. I definitely had higher expectations..very disappointed

My daughter and I went back here last night after previously enjoying a dinner there along with an espresso martini that is def one of the best I have had to-date, and everything was as amazing as we had experienced previously. The food and cocktails are, simply, delicious, and the service and atmosphere match. I, highly, recommend the roasted garlic starter, espresso martini, and tiramisu. As for entrees, we have not had one that was not good, so I would recommend any that appeal to your taste buds. Last night, we enjoyed outside seating (by choice) because the weather was perfect for it, however, inside dining is equally enjoyable. Service was excellent, and we left with smiles on our faces and another nice dining experience in the books.

Weather outside was so nice, it was lonely inside. Service was great but the food disappointing. The house salad which used to be fresh with leafy green romaine was mostly tired white and brown stems this time and served on the same small platter as the fish entree. This flooded the fish with vinaigrette. Not what I had in mind for the garlic caper butter sauce. The server effectively sold me on the gingerbread cake which came loaded with way too much delicious icing and, to my surprise, a charge of $13 for a slice of cake. I had no notice of that.

I typically never write reviews unless it’s very bad. This was very bad… Mayo instead of Cesar dressing. Old meat loaf with horrible seasoning sliced up on wet bread. Fried oysters that taste like salt cubes. CHEAP PASTA made in bulk… for Christ sakes my chicken Parmesan had hard pieces of gristle. NOTHING authentic about this place. You can eat better at Rouses and save yourself $20-30$ a plate.

Cute little restaurant, we sat out in their courtyard with a group of friends. Requested Blackened Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with Pesto per a friend's suggestion, not on the menu. It was really nice of the kitchen staff to accept our request however It wasn't the greatest and wished I would've stuck to my original selection (veal parmigiana) which seemed more flavorful. Wine selection was great. Our waiter, I think her name was Lauren, She was kind and friendly. I'm giving the fourth star based on her service alone. Will visit again and try something different.

It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio and enjoy some Italian favorites. The lasagna with meatball was excellent. Everything that came out looked so good. Definitely a must go place for Italian food.
