Was craving dim sum during this last minute trip to Baton Rouge, If u know anything about anything dim sum restaurants are REALLY hard to come by in Louisiana. Was recommended by a friend to check this place out. We rolled up and it def looks like one of those hole in the wall places but it was a Sunday and the parking lot was full, which was a great sign. We took our chances and went in. So this def is a family ran restaurant, I'm talking about big sis is working the front will you get sis is seating people down mom and dad are running around and the toddlers are somewhere playing with each other in the background of it all. The decor is the place def. looks like your traditional dim sum restaurant. We got seated right away and there wasn't a wait. They gave us a menu which I thought was quite strange since I wanted to see a bunch of carts rolling around and start to pick my good eats. No, you have a menu and a list and you'll check off what you decide to eat, they make it to order in the back. The service was ok, there was a lag of time between our order being placed and our first round of food being brought out, once they stated coming it didn't stop though. The quality of the food is good, the options however lacked in some ways. I asked for congee and they didn't serve it which was no big deal, but coming for dim sum I kinda was expecting congee to be one of the menu items. We did get some good greens and the siu Mai was ok.

This place has little to no service. 2 stars are for the food. Would definitely not recommend to come here unless you order take out.

I love this place. Their dim sum and other dishes are always good. Every single time. Which is what we can all appreciate - consistency!

So far the best Dim Sum I've had in Louisiana. It doesn't look like much and the service isn't wonderful. But the food is top notch. The way I really graded it was on their cheung fun. The rice noodles were thin and not chewy, which is hard to find around here. Their fried Taro puffs were absolutely perfect; so soft on the inside and crispy, light and flaky on the outside. The cha siu Bao order comes with three mini buns and the Bao was so soft and fluffy! Shrimp shumai were awesome as well. I will definitely be coming back here again and again.

I love this restaurant. It is the only place for dim sum in Baton Rouge. This makes Dim Sum Restaurant the only really authentic Chinese restaurant in Baton Rouge, in my opinion. The Lo mai gai (sticky rice) is fantastic and a serious comfort food for me. My absolute favorites are fried turnip cake with fried taro dumpling being a close second. The only place for dim sum like this are places in New Orleans or Houston.

Ok, the taste of food are all right. But they are taking their precious time to make the food. I only ordered a few things, but it takes us a FREAKING long time to wait.

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD. Everything looks delicious. We got several dishes and every one of them was delicious. A very friendly, family atmosphere that I could spend all day in. We'll definitely be back.

Dim Sum is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Baton Rouge. It looks like a dive off Airline if you're not looking for it you'll never find it. However, I'm glad we have this spot. It reminds me of my childhood visits to Hong Kong. The noodles and dumplings are homemade by the family who runs the restaurant. Everything is cooked fresh to order. I always eat too much because everything is so delicious. If you love dim sum please be sure to eat here. The hours here are changing so make sure to go on a Saturday or a Sunday! Take your time and enjoy the food!

It was so delicious! A treasure to enjoy authentic Dim Sum. Even my mother who isn't into Chinese food, loved it so much she wanted to give it 6 out of 5 ⭐! The Tangerine Beef was phenomenal, it was light, juicy, and very flavorful. The dim sums that we tried were perfect which was an embarrassing amount. Plus the Salt and Pepper Calamari was way better than I thought it would be, it tasted so good. And you can't forget the chili oil, made in house! All of the food was well worth it.
