We had such a great time last night celebrating our son's 25th birthday! Our waiter was perfect and the food was delicious. Our crew got a bit rowdy at times and we apparently stayed an hour after closing. I didn't realize this until I got home and googled their hours because it was so quiet in there besides us. But no one said a word about the noise or the overtime. Thank y'all so much for being so accommodating!! It was a special night for us all.

The food was terrific. However there is no crowd control. They allow their patrons to get extremely loud . Space is crowded . To many tables for the very small space they have. If it weren't for the obnoxiously loud very large group next to us it would have been a pleasant experience.

Love this restaurant. Food is always good. Tamales and steak yummy! Restaurant is in an old house that makes it feel so warm and welcoming. The owners are fantastic and the staff is plentiful and always gracious and attentive.
We had a wonderful event for my mother‘s 86th birthday. Can always count on fabulous food at Joe's and great service.
Great food and atmosphere! Steak was fresh and cooked to perfection.
Best steak in the country, I often stop on my drives from NC to Houston for tamales and a petite filet. The Baton Rouge location is one of the best of all the Doe's.

Everything about Doe's is amazing! We were celebrating our anniversary, and Doe's is our go-to place for a celebration — anniversary, birthday, promotion. The hostess wished us “Happy Anniversary” when we arrived, and so did Chris, our waiter. Every bite was perfect —tamales, salad, ribeye, potatoes, fried rolls, and white chocolate bread pudding. I would love to have whoever makes the tamales and chili to teach me how to make both dishes — I would pay good money to learn their secret. We will be back! Restaurant Week is coming up at the end of January! See you then!
Just book the reservation, don't even think, “should I?” The steak answers that question alone, a resounding “you'd be a fool if you didn't”. The service, ambiance, and desert are just added bonuses. I love having Doe's here in Baton Rouge, it's incredible.
Steak was amazing, 10/10. There weren't a ton of other options on the menu outside of appetizers but if you're looking for a great steak then this is a great place.

Always have the best steaks. The tamales appetizer with homemade chili is very delish. Only one occaion my Salad was so salty I couldn't eat it which was strange but other than that this place is my go to for a good steak, great service and very laid back atmosphere.
