I ordered fish with 3 sides. I get home. No fish on the plate and i paid over $20. The drive was to far away to turn back around in 5 o clock traffic. The issue is i could not call a working number to get this corrected.

Too many good things to list . But I'll tell you one thing that cornbread made me cry because it was better than my mama's 🥰🤣🥰🥰🥰🥰

This is a perfect authentic soul food restaurant. I visited from Washington DC and was thrilled to get sweet tea and home cooked meat & 3. Portions are huge! Pork Chops were so tender they were falling off the bone. Do not leave without trying the red beans and rice!!!!! Nothing fancy - just great. Atmosphere is 5 stars because it is exactly what it should be for soul food

The food was so good. I was so full and I still didn’t want to stop eating. The yams are fire 🔥 and the smothered chicken wings. The man that gave us the food said see you next time. I see why he said that. 😂😊

1 thang Dorothy’s is gonna do …. Is fill you up for 2 days lol. The portions for your money is ridiculously generous. At first you think $16 for a plate is a lot (if you’re cheap like me) until you get enough food for a weekend lol.

Not to mention the food taste so damn good! My favorite are the ribs and baked Mac but so far everything has been a hit that I’ve tried.

Not to mention the customer service is amazing. Everyone that answers to take orders is so nice and professional. It feel like I’m calling family.

I love this place. If you haven’t tried YOU MUST!

My GAWD…..?

It’s a little off of I-10, but if you’re driving through, highly recommend. Very friendly staff and the business stays busy so have a little patience. The food is def worth it. Would try hands down again the next time I’m passing through.

Just moved to the area and heard Dorothy’s has some pretty good food.
Purchased 2 dinners 1 catfish and 1 baked chicken .
The catfish was fried fresh while you waited came out hot, well seasoned and delicious .
Red beans and rice were good but I’m still trying to figure out what’s so good about Louisiana red beans n rice lol every place I’ve had it tastes the same .
The greens were good could’ve been cooked to a slightly more tenderness but eatable none the less.
Green beans well seasoned and delicious.
Waited 20-25 minutes for the freshly fried foods which they let you know on the menu and at time of ordering .
I will def return and check out these chittlins i keep seeing on the reviews ! I love chittlins cooking and cleaning them properly lol . The young lady taking the food order was nice , polite hospitable and a beauty .

Very rude and nasty staff they need a whole new team. I called asking for business owner and employees trying play gate guard . Lies to me says that the owner will be in thirty minutes. Then ask me again after taking my name number down talking bout who I'm looking for call next week we got ya info on caller id n hang up in my face

The food was bland and overpriced. The fried chicken wings were dry and may have been fried while still frozen. So disappointed

The lady who took our order was super nice and took the time to explain to me how fix up their fish sandwiches in the south. Great choice!! The portions on the sides were plenty to get full on!

I didn’t eat here in a while because the last time i got sick so yesterday i decided to get a plate after work & i definitely feel the same way, the rice & gravy was nasty .. the collard greens was SWEET i was so disappointed omg , i felt bad afterwards idk if its just me or the food just doesn’t taste all that
