Super great food, people were so nice and patient with our order the food makes me sleepy afterwards, but at least I have a meal for dinner haha definitely would come in if in the area
This is a perfect authentic soul food restaurant. I visited from Washington DC and was thrilled to get sweet tea and home cooked meat & 3. Portions are huge! Pork Chops were so tender they were falling off the bone. Do not leave without trying the red beans and rice!!!!! Nothing fancy - just great. Atmosphere is 5 stars because it is exactly what it should be for soul food

I got that smothered chicken with rice n gravy n mac n cheese w corn bread.
Unlike other restaurants that starve you with tiny portions dorothys packs some food on your plate.
I just hope when i get to heaven that dorothy has a restaurant up there whew .
If you aint ate here you need to the food is incredible.
