This food is amazing! We had shrimp, chicken, and the chicken sandwich. Everything tastes great! And the owner is so kind. He takes good care of his customers!

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant downtown. This restaurant is reasonably priced and good authentic Louisiana cuisine. You can get a meal combo of fried catfish or shrimp salads, sandwiches, poboys or seafood platters for around 15$. Food is great and staff is friendly and food should check it out!
Visited this place for first time located on one of the busiest Streets in downtown Baton Rouge. I ordered the Burger and fry combo, because I'm always looking for a good burger joint; guess I'm just down-home American. This place appeared to only have two employees: a cook and cashier. The meal was nothing special, pretty much something I could done better myself at home. The fries were seasoned well. I wanted to add a salad but lettuce was not Romaine; in addition to lacking variety in toppings. Although I requested Dine-In, the meal was provided in a to-go styrofoam tray which appear to be standard. I guess this place is good for those on the go and have few options. After inquiring, I was notified that the menu provided to me was not accurate pricing so I personally made changes on sheet provided to me. This place appear to try making a quick buck for charging a "pretty penny" for simple meals. On top of that, when the cashier attempted to assist with menu; the cook interrupted her and said help him in back when the restaurant had nothing but one order. I felt this was rude and disrespectful to a customer. Also, I overheard the cook insulting a customer about whether or not it was their first time dining at that place. I will not return to this place. Not worth my money nor do I support bigotry, poor customer service and/or ill-mannered employees-people.

i love their butter sm!!!! they let my grandma, brother and i have a sample of the shrimp and it was absolutely amazing(≧∀≦) their fries are very crispy and if a restaurant’s fries are crispy, nine times of ten the food will be amazing too!!! i recommended this place to my friends and told them we’re coming here the next time we go out to eat✌︎('ω')✌︎ the service was great and the people are very nice<33 i highly highly recommend coming downtown to visit and have their amazing food( ^ω^ )
I literally want to go back for more while writing this review! I was skeptical at first because it was a ghost town inside but I gave it a go anyway! As soon as me and my mom walked up to the counter, the cashier handed us a plate of shrimp to taste and I knew at that moment, this was a good decision. I had a huge shrimp po boy with fries and a salad. It was soo good and they even gave me an extra box of shrimp! I highly recommend!

The staff in this restaurant is ongoing and that's one thing that I can appreciate. As you never have to worry about the meal tasting differently because two different cooks are preparing. The meals are always fresh hot and deliver with a smile.

Four of us had lunch here today, looking for a good quick lunch. We were not disappointed! We were greeted by the owner(?) with a sample plate of fried shrimp before we ever even ordered. One taste of these succulent shrimp made my decision. We had two shrimp boxes and two mixed fish/shrimp boxes. Shrimp were fried perfectly and were delicious. Fried fish was crispy outside, flaky inside, cooked to perfection. Fries were awesome, too. The owners/cooks were very friendly and one of the guys went to the back and located some cocktail sauce for us. This place is great! Food and service are both great. Highly recommend! Would definitely eat here again. Wanna try the burger next time. Thanx for the great meal guys!Afterthought....we parked in a paid lot about a block away for $7 or $8 for 2 hours. It was worth it. Street parking nearby is iffy.
