Holy spicy. I'm having trouble even thinking spicy about this review spicy because it's so spicy spicy. And I like spicy. But the "medium" (2/4 level spicy) is INSANE to me. My nose is running, eyes watering, stomach hurting after about 5 bites. But it tastes so good I wish I could keep eating (green curry tofu). I will have to mix this with extra rice just to be able to finish it. I will order mild next time for certain. If you came to the reviews section to see if you're the only one who can't handle it, don't worry, it's not just you. The satay was good and the tom yum was too. The tom yum was really good and very sour.

I got the Panang and Tom Yum from here that's was pretty good, even my boyfriend he is Laos said that this place got the better Thai food he ever tried in BR. This is the mom-and-pop store, good environment, cozy and y'all know that when it is the family restaurant it always hit good!! The service is amazing, she is really caring she makes me feel like my mom. Plus if you are want it spicer they can do it too, for me that makes the food taste more like the original one, but don't do it if you can't handle good in spicy. Btw i know the pictures suck lol.

Had an absolutely amazing dinner last night. Food wasn't too expensive. Good portion of food. EATERS BEWARE, if you are not a super spicy food person, BE VERY CAREFUL with their red sauce that sits at the table. A little truly goes a long way. I use a good bit. And if your sinuses are clogged, I promise they won't be after you eat there.

The red curry is simply incredible. Best pad Thai you will find around here, better than kona. Service is excellent. It is one of my favorite restaurants!!!Update: 7 years later, still the best Thai I've ever had! Best mom n pop shop

Imagine going to a Thai place and ordering shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp and getting 12 shrimp total. Then imagine ordering garlic chicken and getting canned green beans and canned corn. This food is absolute garbage inmate food do not go here.

The chicken Pad Thai was fantastic, probably one of the better in town. Service was quick and friendly. I wish they had fountain drinks as it's just plastic bottle drinks, but it works.

I found my new favorite restaurant!!! It's Duang Tawan! I know it's definitely not new, but it's brand new to me! I'm sad I hadn't tried it before, especially since they'll be closed from September to November (but not until after this next upcoming weekend). The food is absolutely amazing! So much flavor and spiced to your preference! I made myself stop half way through my meal to have leftovers because I didn't want to stop eating it! Everything has deep flavor like it's been cooking for days I love all types of Asian, but this Thai restaurant has my heart We had the chicken satay appetizer (ate before I could take a pic oops ), Eggplant with chicken entree (the very best eggplant I've ever had in my life!), broccoli and sauce with chicken entree, spicy soup with beef noodle soup topped with chopped peanuts The owners and staff were so nice and so attentive! Do yourself a favor and go this week and then crave and mourn their reopening until November
