Eloise Market and Cakery

They have the absolute best tasting decorated sugar cookies I’ve ever had! The icing tastes like wedding cake or a petit four and the designs are gorgeous!

Stopped in for a snowball and grabbed a cookie for my daughter. The snowball was so dry and lacked flavor. I'm from New Orleans. We do not expect the first sip to be absolutely nothing. Sadly those was the first ever snowball that I threw away when I got home. It was just mostly ice. Also when my order was completed the cashier just walked off. Didn't say thank you or even had me the box with the cookie. I had to reach across the counter and grab it myself. A very underwhelming experience.

Cake was beautiful, better than I had envisioned. More importantly, it was delicious! Ashley was so kind and cheerful! When I picked up the cake, Ashley and the baker (forgot to get her name) made sure every single detail was perfect before walking out of the store. Ashley made sure my daughter felt extra special on her birthday by speaking directly to her about the cake and if any last minute changes needed to be made. Will be returning!

Cons: The person who took my cake order was not mean but also not the friendliest (this is a customer service job), she seemed annoyed that I was there; however, Ashley's kindness and cheerful attitude made up for it when picking up the cake. The inside of the store could use some cleaning up behind the counter and inside the large refrigerator.

I had the best experience with my son's LSU graduation cake! I am out of state so I ordered over the phone and they could not have been more helpful! I was very indecisive about what I wanted written on the cake and they were so patient with me.
When I picked up the cookie cake it looked amazing and was so heavy. It was soft and gooey chocolate chip with a delicious icing! It was definitely the hit of the party!

Perfect place for a party! My 11 year old and her friends had so much fun here. Everyone was involved including dads. It was easy to book online all we had to do was show up. The step by step cake decorating process was informative and the cakes were delicious.

I came for the sugar cookie decorating class and it took a 1hr and 30 min. The instructor was well educated, patient, and helpful. I would recommend anyone to decorate cookies at this location. The store has a unique aesthetic but it was clean and homy. Even after refrigerating our cookies they still taste as good and soft when we made them.

Little brother come to me with a very specific cake idea for his girlfriends birthday and no clue where to start. I found Eloise on google and visited her site where I found the boujee tall cake category. Sent in the order and text details of what was wanted and they nailed it! It very little time frame! They loved it and they said it tasted delicious!

Highly recommend this bakery. Easy to work with, very reasonable pricing and the gorgeous cake I just got was delicious. 10/10

I just got my cake and it was Betty boop theme . When my boyfriend went to pick it up there was no Betty boop and they half assed the cake didn't even put the bows . Also, my roommate did her cake here and it was not ready on time and she just wasn't able to have a cake at her birthday brunch. Never coming here again .

Love love loved going and doing the king cake class here with my aunt. I would recommend Eloise Market and Cakery 10/10. From the outside atmosphere of the business to the heart and soul of the business (Maddy), everything was exceptional and so much fun. The cost was affordable per person for the class as well. And the purchase of my brownie afterwards that was delicious. As my aunt would say thanks babe for a great memorable and fantastic day. We will be back for more fun!

Such a great team and very talented designers!! I’ve been using them for birthdays for the last couple years and have never been disappointed in the least! From the customer service to the quality of their work, simply amazing.
Note: this picture was taken yesterday for my girl’s birthday party! we kinda messed up her name on the cake. That was our fault! Wish I got a picture when I picked it up. But still.. amazing job!

My husband and I went to a King Cake class at Eloise and it was so much fun! The atmosphere was very welcoming and the owner was very friendly and polite! We got the chance to play bingo while our king cakes baked and my husband won a prize! I 10/10 recommend this place for their delicious treats or if you looking to do something fun

They did an incredible with our daughters Bluey themed chocolate chip cookie cake for her 4th birthday. Almost every parent at the party asked where the cake was from and raved about how delicious it was, the kids loved it too. The cookie was buttery, had the perfect texture and taste, and the design and decoration was PERFECT! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

So my review was 3.75 and here is why…
I booked for me and my two daughters but only one was able to attend. We arrived 25 mins early and went inside their were maybe 8 more people inside already , the initial person of contact ( young girl with dark hair ) greeted us and said you can sit across from each other or side by side but don’t skip seats. My daughter and I chose the last table to the back so I can sit close to the instructor, about 5 mins later another couple came and sat at the end of the table since they were waiting on 2 others to show up. Around 12:40 2 women come in and said they have a table of 7 , the girl that greeted us originally tells me and my daughter to move so the
( late comers can sit together ) I was flabbergasted and lost for words, embarrassing and my daughter and I moved to another table that was holding a seat and so we moved again, my daughter said Mom I just want to go, she said she felt like we had purchased the nose bleed seats and tried to sit in the reserved section (smh) .
I made a choice to not the late comers or the young lady that I found out was just the assistant.

Now when Maggie ( THE OWNER ) begin the session it was an awesome experience and we were both glad we stayed ! If the top experience never happened , I would give Maggie and the event a 10/10… and yes I would do it again ! She’s relocating and I look forward to see what she has to offer.

So I can’t just leave a complaint without a suggestion to clear the complaint:

I suggest maybe assigning seats when people register so you know who’s sitting where and people can just come in and find their name or number.
And/Or let larger parties know early that they need to arrive with their group if possible to be seated together so the experience is comfortable for everyone.

Now on another note… The King Cakes are so good and most !!!
