Well we met the owner's lovely family (including Eloise) at a Mardi Gras parade and her dad told us about the bakery so we had to try it while we were in Baton Rouge on business. They happened to have a slice of funfetti cake left for sale and let me tell you that I may never stop dreaming of that piece of cake. It was so good I want to cry just remembering it. The space is also adorable.

Ordered a gluten free king cake and picked it up the next day. The ordering process was super easy, although I didn't receive a confirmation or anything like that. Unfortunately, my king cake had been contaminated with gluten (had a reaction) and it was not filled with cream cheese as ordered. Instead, it was filled with double cinnamon (I think?) because the entire center of the cake was unsweetened, gooey cinnamon. It was covered with a flavorless icing that made the entire middle soggy. Way too heavy for a king cake. I reached out via Facebook messenger, because their voicemail was full when I tried to call about my experience. They replied quickly and said they would refund me and I should dispose of the cake. That was 7 days ago. I reached out again via FB on Monday - no one has replied and they are showing as unread. I attempted to call today and got a message saying that their voicemail was STILL full. I waited a minute and tried calling again, just to be sure. Immediately it went to the voicemail error message and I received a text from the company asking me to stop "calling repeatedly". For obvious reasons, I cannot recommend this business.

Purchased brownies and king cake. The brownies had to be a month old. They were so dry you could hardly cut them. I plan on returning them they were so bad.

Wow! The owner is truly a professional and has found something so fun to add to Baton Rouge. I participated in the king cake making class and found the value and time very appropriate. It helped that the king cake was delicious and I get to say that I made it (just don’t look too closely because appearance wise it wasn’t my best). However, I learned during this class about different king cakes and really enjoyed that the owner had conversations that felt directed at me even though there were about 40 of us participating all at once. She was attentive and kind and I would certainly consider signing up for her regular cake making classes as well. It was a great time and such a fun and neat experience.

Placed a cake order at 7:30 am and attempted to cancel at 12 noon same day and was told I would only get 10% of my money due to cake supposedly in the oven on Thursday for a Saturday pick up which makes me think that the cake is not the fresh cake I am expecting so this forced me to proceed with the order. Once I received the order the cake decor was great but the taste of the cake was not the best..I would definitely think twice before ordering again in the future.

I love this place. They were able to accommodate my request for 75 cupcakes only a few days before my event and they were delicious. We have a “King Cake and Bingo” party booked in January and can’t wait. What a cute idea. Five stars all around.
